At Life Force Chiropractic, Dr. Smart specializes a new Technique called Advanced BioStructural Correction. This technique focuses on the body as a whole and takes into account the structure of your body. Structure is directly related to how your body is able to function. Your spine has 24 movable vertebrae which have muscles that attach in the front and on both sides of your spine. These muscles can pull the bones they are attached to forward and sideways, however, there are not any muscles to pull the bones backwards. This is because in today’s society we are constantly performing tasks that cause us to lean forward and once our bodies start to fall forward we do not have any muscles attached to the back of our spines to pull the bones back into place. With this technique he is able to find the specific bones that have slipped forward and set them back into the proper alignment to reverse forward posture.

When I was young, I always wanted to be in health care, maybe physical therapy. But then I met a girl named Tracy (now my wife) and my plans changed. She started telling me how she had horrible ear aches for years and how nothing helped. Then her parents took her to a new type of doctor, one that worked with her nervous system. Her earaches were gone almost instantly and never came back. «You’ve got to check it out,» she said. So I asked her doctor if I could follow him around for a day and talk to his patients. WHAT AN EYE OPENER! His patients told me how they had been helped with headaches, insomnia, digestive problems, depression, asthma, painful shoulders, migraines, low back pain. I had never seen a doctor with such a fan club. I thought, «This is what I have got to do with my life.» I abandoned my plans to become a therapist and began taking the specialized requirements to get into Chiropractic College and graduated in 2006 from Life Chiropractic College West.
