History

Established in 2006.

In 2006 the Kingston Art Gallery was established by a group of local artist in Kingston, Washington. The Gallery relocated to Poulsbo, Washington in 2010. It was at that time, the members renamed the gallery «Front Street Gallery Poulsbo». Since 2006 the gallery has remained a co-op of local artisst that collaborate together to offer their handmade works of art for sale. The gallery not only provides a venue for the fresh local talent but the members give back to the community thru collaboration with non– profits. The gallery hosts non– profit events and puts on an annual auction held in August. The auction of handmade porcelain slugs coincides with the Kingston Slug Hunt. The profits from the auction go into a scholarship fund and are awarded by the gallery to a local graduating high school student going on to higher education in the arts.

Poulsbo is growing as a destination for the arts and Front Street Gallery is proud to support the local art scene.

Meet the Business Owner

Jessica M.

Business Owner

As a member of our cooperative art gallery I am one of many artist/owners. I also serve as gallery manager and handle most of the marketing of the gallery. Kitsap County is home to many talented artists and Poulsbo is growing as an art destination with 6 galleries. I help coordinate the monthly Poulsbo Second Saturday Art Walk. Our gallery strives to show fresh local talent every month and our art openings are a big draw. We are also involved in many community events and like to pair up with a local non-profit for each of our art openings and donate 5% of sales during the evening event.
