I was impressed with all aspects of their operation. My daughter left her car there at night as she left town. They promptly responded to me, emailed an estimate, and were proactive in ordering parts and repairing the car. The price was what I expected.
I love it when I feel like I can trust a mechanic to treat me well.

Our new «car doctor». We hit a deer on the Taconic and had our car towed here. They were so great to work with and did a fabulous job. We explained to our daughter that the car was at the «car doctor». Like finding a good doctor, a good «car doctor» is someone you have to trust and who communicates well. I will be taking my car back here for future repairs-it’s worth the extra travel for me.

These guys are great. I desperately needed an oil change last minute before a long drive. I just walked in, told them what I needed and they said no problem. After I left, they called me to tell me my car inspection was expired so I asked them to do the inspection for me as well. Within an hour and for under 100 dollars, my car was in prime shape and ready for pick up.

My family has been going to Stofa’s since we moved to the area in the late 90’s. They serviced my first car when I was 16 and they service my car today. They are helpful and friendly and take care of me like family. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

This is the best service center in the Hudson Valley, hands down. I have taken my cars to them for about 20 years now, referred by friends who took their cars to them for years. I have referred all of my friends and family to them, and those who have gone have all been happy with the service. They are not cheap, but they are reasonable, and they will tell you if something does NOT need fixing. They have three generations of Stofa’s working there and all of their staff are friendly, competent and helpful. I trust them so much that I actually BOUGHT a car from them, and it has been nothing but reliable. If you live in the Hudson Valley, take your car here.

Every time I’ve called, I have been able to bring in a car for almost immediate service! Today, snow tires replaced the donut I had from the blowout last week… Quick, personal and CHEERFUL people in Stofas — the place is just another reason I know we landed in the right location when we moved to the area almost 2 years ago. I was also served freshly brewed coffee… It’s really lovely to be treated with such thoughtfulness and professionalism.

Best shop in the area. They are fair, quick, helpful, and honest. After one or two times they will remember you and your car. I have had all great experiences here and everyone who goes here LOVES these guys. It’s strange to love your mechanic but these guys are really great.

Ya know I have doing business with this repair shop for 20 years and their customer service gets better and better– today the owner drove me home and (1 hour later) my car was ready — he called and brought me back to the station to get my car that was fixed and ready to go! They are honest and dont need to make stuff up about what is wrong with your car (they are busy enough) When my low pressure light goes on in my car they cheerfully adjust the air in my tires and off I go!
