Please take notice of all the reviews about not honoring appointments and time. I didn’t and regret it. I was told my pedi would be a half hour so I waited. Other women came in behind me and were taken ahead of me, they did not care that they were treating me so poorly. At $ 37 for a pedi I guess they don’t need the money. I won’t be back! Thanks for the earlier reviews, so sorry I didn’t listen.

Abysmal service.
It’s clean — so if that’s the criteria for a good review, then standards are sadly low. What abominable customer service. If I’m going to drop $ 50 plus tip, I’m not going to be treated rudely and passed over for the privilege. I waited, and waited, only see people who arrived after me get served before, with no explanation. No eye contact. No response to questions. So no business!
There are dozens of clean, competent, courteous nail salons in the area. Sage will not get my patronage, but they will get plenty of bad press.

Used to love this place and had actually given it 5 stars. I went in last week with over an hour before closing and asked for a gel manicure and regular pedicure — more than enough time. The woman at the desk was horribly rude and snapped you can’t get both. When I asked why, she just keep repeating you can only get one. At this point I told her I would go elsewhere and she rolled her eyes. So disappointed in the customer service. I used to be a loyal customer, but I won’t be back. I hope others will think twice before using this establishment.

Mediocre at best, especially considering the price. I selected the spa pedicure and manicure; it didn’t even last 24 hours and I’m pretty gentle with my hands.
My technician didn’t spend much attention to my cuticles, and didn’t do a very good job with the foot exfoliation. For what I paid, I certainly expected better experience.

Sign says «walk ins welcome» not true. Stopped in twice only to be turned away. Also, sign says relaxing atmosphere. Feels more like a morgue. Trying to get out of their parking lot is another nightmare. I won’t try again.

Visited on a sat morning as a walk in for a gel manicure. Clean space, polite and professional staff. Cristina did my nails it was the best gel mani I’ve ever had! Would come back again!

I write this review with mixed feelings. On one hand they do an amazing job with manicures, pedicures, and gels. However, I find the staff to be incredibly rude. For example, even if you make an appointment they will take other people ahead of you. I arrived on a Sunday morning before the place even opened. I was the first inside. I wanted a gel and pedi. I wrongly assumed (I would be in and out. to my dismay they took other people who arrived AFTER me first. I sat for over 45 min with my nails in foil. I finally said something to the woman who looked to be the head and she was rude. Do not come here if you are in a rush

My first few times in I almost didn’t return because they can be rude. But they do such an amazing job, the place is clean, bright and well ventilated, and you cannot beat the free massage, especially if you get Maria. Most of the time gels last 2 weeks, and pedicures are lovely and relaxing. I’ve been going to them for I think almost 2 years now and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere

They do NOT honor their appointment times! Several patrons today including myself left when they were 30 minutes behind and took walk ins… this is the 3rd time this has happened so I will not be returning for future service.

Absolutely the best place to go to for a gel mani/​pedi. These ladies really know what they’re doing. The complimentary massages is always nice and the place is always clean.

I know I’m slightly OCD about nails but this was the worst mani/​pedi I’ve had in a while. Came here bc if the Unilocal reviews, but was rushed through my mani/​pedi by Blanca. She barely spoke to me, shoved my feet, yanked on my hands and drew blood on my toes. She argued with me about my preferred nail length (I understand Spanish so know she was whining to the woman next to her about how I wanted them too short). All my nails have bubbles and when I came home I had to refile bc most were jagged or uneven. I nicked one nail before leaving and it took ten mins after another technician yelled at her to fix it. Her «fix» was so bad that Maria (the only reason for this two, not one, star review) sighed and redid my nail for her. Maria was great. Blanca was rude and quite terrible.

Got a basic mani/​pedi today and it was great. I felt badly when I went to the drier I bumped a nail and ruined the polish. Nora was great, didn’t bat an eye and fixed it expertly without having to strip the whole nail. It looks perfect. Love how clean the place is!!!

My first good nail salon experience since I moved to Dutchess County! Rina gave me a perfect gel fill and lip/​eyebrow wax. The store is spotlessly clean unlike others in the area. I highly recommend Sage Nails!

I am so disappointed. Went in for a gel mani — waited an hour, which I was totally fine with. Jenny started my mani as soon as she was done with someone else’s. She must have been in a bad mood because she was super rough and made my cuticles bleed — I was in so much pain and I told her so, she gave me a dirty look. She put some weird blue stuff on it, and when I tried to pull my hand away, she pulled it back towards her. I toughed the rest of the mani out and let the owner know. He said she was their best nail specialist. FAIL. I am looking at bringing this to the department of health. What was that weird blue stuff? What if it was my wedding weekend or if I was pregnant? How is being so rough with someone’s hands acceptable? Never going back there again.

I really enjoyed my experience at Sage tonight. The background music was very relaxing, The chair massage I received while getting my nails done was AWESOME! The nail tech was very good I am pleased with the results. Although gel tips (the only type they do) are more costly than acrylics I am glad I splurged & I am definitely going back for a pedicure, the ladies in the chairs looked so pampered.
** And they do give a discount if you pay cash!

This is by far the best nail salon the area has to offer. It is spotlessly clean. In fact, I have even witnessed the staff on their hands and knees scrubbing the floors and pedicure tubs until they are sparkling. Everyone here is so friendly and accommodating. The owners are so sweet and they make you feel so welcome. The services are second to none and you have a wonderful menu to choose from including everything from a basic pedi to a lavender pedicure (my favorite) and so much more. They also do a fantastic job with gel manicures. I always leave here 100% satisfied and wanting to come back. I highly recommend Sage to anyone looking for a high quality nail salon experience at a great price.
