Delicious food reasonably priced and great service! No complaints at all. Eggplant parm dinner was enormous and delicious with a lovely salad served first. I really enjoyed it. My friend had a great meal also –pasta with shrimp and broccoli rabe — so delicious! Service was excellent and the place was spotless. I will go back!

I recently went to Bacio’s and to be honest it was a somewhat uncomfortable experience. I went there with my girlfriend to grab a slice of pizza, the girl working was very nice. However, when we went to sit she asked us to «sit somewhere with 2 or 3 chairs». Very strange. There were some tables with 4 chairs and others with two, and there were only two other people eating so I don’t understand why she felt the need to say that. There were plenty of available tables but she felt the need to tell us where to sit. Then, when we were eating our pizza a table sat down next to us and were being waited on as if this was a true restaurant, when I was here for just a slice of pizza. It felt uncomfortable. This place doesn’t know if it’s a restaurant or pizza place. The pizza itself was good, but not for the price. I paid $ 2.50 for a cheese slice! Pretty pricey, but it is good pizza in a great spot, and the staff seemed nice. This lack of identity really shows however, and makes for an uncomfortable experience.

Hands down the BEST pizza in Poughkeepsie! Maybe even in the Hudson Valley. If you like GOOD pizza, and like it REAL. this is the place! The food in suprisingly good as well! Some of the best Italian around! We rank it right up there with J Domenicks on RTE. 44!

We have been dining here numerous times a month for the past year. Our meals have always been excellant, served in a reasonable amount of time, and have plenty of food. The waitstaff has always been friendly, and attentive. This is a small restaurant, and it can get very busy, but we have never had a bad experience when dining here. Prices are very reasonable, and many selections can be altered to meet one’s needs. Great food, nice people, good prices… what more can one ask?

I was recently told I couldn’t eat gluten anymore and was extremely disappointed that I’d never have pizza again. Thankfully these guys do it gluten free! I was expecting t to be tasteless and instead it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered meat balls and a buff chicken wrap which were all great. Will definitely return!

We really enjoy Pizzeria Bacio not only for their pizza but for the fresh salads and other entrees as well. I really enjoy that they use great fresh spinach and romaine in their salads as well as other fresh veggies and this holds true for the sides on the entrees. For those trying to eat a bit healthier you can get a very nice piece of salmon on spinach with tomatoes or you can get more traditional Italian-American dishes such as chicken or eggplant parm or a wide variety of pasta dishes. This is a great family place.

Great, casual place for pizza or Italian food. Huge portions and great prices. Chicken Parmesan comes with 2 big chicken breasts. Vodka sauce is out of this world.

«It’s just so hard to find good pizza and sandwiches up here!» This is a common complaint I’ve had to hear from my wife for the first couple of years of our lives here in the Hudson Valley. The truth is, after her living in NYC for the 8 years prior to coming up here, and my lifelong access to good pizza growing up on Staten Island(see Denino’s), we are quite spoiled. We will try new places from time to time but mainly were sticking to a few places that were«o.k» out of fear that the new place would far worse than we were already having. For the most part, we would gather opinions from locals, many of which were former residents of NYC(we figured their taste would have to be of higher standard as well!). Finally, someone came along and suggested Bacio’s. We decided we might as well check it out and give it a shot… Located in an area near Vassar college chalk full of bars and restaurants, it’s a great place to just park and walk around before and after dinner. We walked in during a busy time on a Friday night, and opted to sit outside where they had several tables set up. The menu is filled with any and all of your favorite Italian dishes, but we only had pizza on our minds(and obviously sandwiches). We began with the mozzarella sticks. Nothing mind blowing here, but if you’ve had them at other local restaurants, you would know that some taste like they just came out of the freezer from a local walmart. These, thankfully did not. For dinner, her and I had our own personal pizza’s. I went with the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and she had a regular pie plus a eggplant parm hero(figuring from the start she would take a majority of this home with her). I found the buffalo chicken pie to be quite good. As a fan of this style pizza(Wings and pizza in the best of both worlds!) it was among the best I’ve had both here and at home. Not overly spicy, but had a great taste and kick. As for hers… alas, satisfaction! Although not completely up to her standards, this pizza and eggplant parm hero definitely gave her some hope. The bread was actually fresh, and the eggplant done just right. Compared to other styles we’ve eaten here, Bacio’s is absolutely a cut above Now I’m not saying that we will only come here for pizza from now on(Unfortunately its a bit more out of the way than some other local ones for convenience) its is absolutely one we will think about for dining out purposes and look forward to coming back to

If you live in Dutchess county and crave Westchester or NYC pizza, this is the place to go. By far the best pizza in the area. Good service as well

I ate here tonight with some family. Didn’t really have an issue with the food, but there were a few things that threw me off. Our waiter got the job done, but wasn’t that nice… Hostesses were friendly. Restaurant was clean and there wasn’t a very long wait to eat. Bread and oil that comes with dinner was good. Appetizer calamari was not that great — chewy and really did not have much taste. It also looked like they used the same calamari for the food, both did not include many tentacles, which made me think it was frozen pre cut(maybe I’m wrong). I had the bambino salad which I did enjoy a lot, grilled shrimp were great. All the salads were big and the rest of our for was good. This is definitely a good place for around the college, but it is more on the pricy side for what it is. I did not try the pizza but it also did look good and the pricing for it looked reasonable. O yeah… I’m guessing the old guy making the pizza was the owner… He does look grumpy!

Food = 4 stars, waitstaff= 4 stars, owner standing in the dining area with a nasty face waiting for guests to leave unacceptable = no stars. We will not be returning because of that. Shame on you.

OHHHHMYYYYYGOOOOOOD!!! seriously this pizza is the absolute worst i have ever had in my life!!! I am 100% sure the mushrooms were straight from a can, pepperoni soggy, crust just bland and sauce, well if you told me the cook forgot the sauce on my pizza i would totally believe you. I honestly think it takes an extra level of indifference to produce such a flavourless pice of food, if you can call what i got at baccio food at all. I ate 1 slice and that’s all. The waitress took the rest away, asked if I wanted it to go, to which i replied NO and she didn’t think this odd enough to ask if everything was ok with the pizza. Dominos is(and by no motive I am saying dominos is good) infinitely better, compared to baccio dominos is a 4 star restaurant. The table behind us were complaining amongst themselves about the sauce on their chicken parm, that tasted straight out of a can. I am 100% sure that this place survives because of the divine intervention in the form of starving student patronage from the near by colleges. 100% tourist trap, would never try it again, not if i got a whole year of free pizzas. And the cherry on the crap cake, me and my friend had to walk to the register to pay because the 2 waitresses were busy talking to the person who produces what they sell at baccio as «pizza»

My girlfriend and I always get our pizza here. Sauce is good, Pizza’s in general are always perfect. When I don’t get pizza, I usually get the Chicken Zappatore Spinach wrap which is absolutely delicious. They cook the Broccoli Rabe just like my grandma, perfectly!

We had lunch at Bacio’s after visiting Vassar. I am gluten free but my husband and son are most definitely not. I was thrilled that they offed gluten-free pizza. I ordered an small eggplant one which was actually quite large(I brought a couple of slices back to New York with me and polished them off the next day). My husband and son both tasted it and thought that it was really good. They both had non-gluten meals, a veal parm sub and a broccoli rabe pizza and said they were excellent. The waitress was super helpful when I asked about the gluten-free pizza and the chef came out to see me afterward to find out if I liked it.

You guys are the best. We ordered delivery tonight; lg pie, half pepperoni well done, order of fries, 2 regular mini cannolis and a 2 liter ginger ale. Our order arrived 15 earlier than estimated(yay!) and the delivery guy was super nice. The pizza was perfect; hot, saucy but not too saucy, and the cannoli — oh my goodness. I was so sad when they were all gone, they were so delicious. Thanks for another great meal!

A couple weeks ago I booked a small party at Bacio for about thirty people, and I was very impressed with how simple the event was put together. Tricia(or Trisha?) was excellent on the phone while planning it, and was amazing the day of. She and her coworkers sculpted an awesome evening for us that was casual, fun, and well fed. In fact, I would give this whole experience with Pizzeria Bacio 5 stars were it not for one issue: the owner. An older gentleman, who makes the most amazing pizzas, this guy was trying to convince us to have a limited menu of pasta dishes for the event, even though we had explicitly told him several times we just wanted pizza. Second strike: he called me up about two hours before the party was about to start and threatened to cancel the whole thing because we didn’t want to sit outside in the rain. And strike three: the entire dinner he was giving me death stares from behind the counter… as if I had done him a disservice by packing his restaurant full of customers on a weekday. Dealing with these issues may sound trivial, but if I’m spending a ton of money on a pizza party, I feel like a friendly attitude isn’t too much to ask. Lastly, just a quick plug for the food: it’s out of this damn world. Simple pizza at a great price with tons of flavor. There’s really something for everyone at this place.

I give Bacio 5-stars for their pizza. It is the best in the area. A crisp crust, nicely flavored sauce and excellent toppings. The staff are fantastic and extremely friendly. We have been here several times, and will be back again.

From New Jersey. Looking for pizza and Chinese food is like pulling teeth. This place is bumping and the slices are thin long and just overall good! Money to size ratio is great haha

For pizza, Bacio’s is outstanding. I’ve had several of their pizzas in the past and if you’re craving a good pizza, Bacio will not disappoint. However this past week I tried one of their pasta dishes, the Farfalle Bacio which is a red cream sauce with artichokes and chicken over the farfalle. Honestly the sauce was bland, the chicken was bland and overall, the dish was not very good. The two folks Iwas with had the Chicken Parm and an Orichette dish which they both enjoyed, but I did not sample them. Good clean restaurant, very friendly service and excellent pizza. Just a disappointment with the pasta dish.
