Paintbrushes & Party

I have been here numerous times to paint. Had a great time making my masterpiece! Like other reviews said, the room is mostly women. But, what is wrong with that? Spend a night painting and meeting women! Guys, give it a chance.
I will definitely be back to paint again. Very reasonably priced for a night out!

I will never go back! The first time I went, it seemed the owners had no problem with giving me more paint. The second time I went and went up to get more paint, I was asked «what are you doing?» My response was getting more paint. Owners response was“No, use some of your neighbor’s.” Well, this did not sit very well with me! The tone of the owners voice and what she said. Everyone has paid good dollars to do your class.

My daughter had a girl scout holiday party here today, I had never been to a paintbrush party so I was interested in seeing how it works
The staff was really very friendly chatting happily with all the girls and the moms alike
Beautiful artwork was displayed all along the walls and in the girls room a fun and funky light made out of wine glasses, how cool is that?!
You can do private parties there, fundraisers, children’s parties as well as check their online calendar for classes just to sign up for and attend!
All in all id say it was really a nice and fun event for the girls with a super cute painting they made and I’d definitely recommend having a party there, or just signing up to attend a class !

My wife arranged this little painting affair so the first thing I noticed when I walked in was that I was the only guy in the place other than the co-​owner dude that was helping out. This is definitely a «chick thang» but I did have fun getting in touch with my feminine side, LOL seriously it was pretty fun. For about $ 40-​$ 50 you get about a 3 hour painting session, they provide all the supplies (i.e. paint, brushes and apron). I suggest wearing clothing you don’t’ care too much about because you get so fixated on making the next Picasso that if the apron shifts in your lap you may inadvertently wipe your hands on your pants as I did.
The session works out in a large class room group setting with an instructor up front giving a demo of how to paint the particular panting the class is attempting. When we started I thought, «The paintings on the wall were done by pros and that instructor probably knows just as little as I do.» However, the instructor clearly is a pro because as she painted with us it was clear she was very, very good at painting.
You get step by step guidance but keep in mind it’s a large classroom style arrangement so you won’t have personal 1:1 attention but you can ask for help which they cheerfully provide. The amount of paint they provide seems dismal and while another reviewer mentioned getting attitude from staff for paint re-​fills I did not experience that at all. In fact my daughter went up several times for more paint without an issue. I personally managed to make my entire Picasso with just the small portions of paint they provided so I guess I’m a natural.
Overall I think this is a fun place to experience, for woman! LOL, seriously it was fun but it clearly attracts mostly woman so if you’re a dude and a bachelor you can stop forcing yourself to church to find a nice chick because this is a chick spot. I’m married so my eyes were focused on my masterpiece but maybe I took a peek around (LOL).
Note: Make an appointment because I’m not entirely sure they take walk-​ins since they have limited seating. We did our reservations online so it was easy and convenient.

What a fun place to visit. I went on a business meeting with a large group and the service was great! Personally, I like art but always wished that I could be able to paint. Paintbrushes and Party gave easy instructions. Instead of feeling like the painting dufus, I felt like I was an artist. The artwork on the walls is jaw dropping. Very impressive.
I know that they can can make private parties too.

Love this place! The staff is wonderful, they make a point to know their customers and to create a fun, relaxed environment! Best paint and sip I’ve been to!

Had a great night learning how to paint!!! Never thought I could do it. Our teacher was great:-) Oh, and you can enjoy wine while painting your masterpiece:-)

Like every other female on the planet… I am madly in love with this concept.
My two favorite things in the whole world (besides pizza) are drinking wine and painting.
Dude. This is a place where you PAINT –AND– DRINK. AT THE SAME DAMN TIME. (Bonus points to me for the obvious!). Everyone who works here is wonderfully welcoming. You really feel at home.
The instructor walks you through the painting concept step by step and it really is all up to you. No judgement.
If you are a girl, boy, child, retired old-​timer — it does not matter — you will love this. It really is a place for everyone. This is seriously therapy. It is the answer to an insanely awful week at work. Or at home. Or just a place to get away from life for a few hours… and forget about it all.
It’s a place to create something. That is yours. With the help of amazing owners and the talented staff. :)
