Jack’s Auto Body

I have been going to Jack’s for 15 years. Jack the owner, is a mild mannered super nice guy. He painted the hard top roof of my exotic sports car and matched the paint perfectly. My dealer’s recommended body shop, specializing in this exact car, did a way worse job, taking two paint jobs to try and match and failed.
I wouldnt hesitate to go there again… Great prices and great work. Go there…

Called Jack (the owner) from Jack’s Auto Body to replace a door that was dented on my dump truck. He told me he could have the door in one day and the work completed the following day. We agreed on $ 750.00 for these services. I dropped my truck off one day and called the next day to get an update. He then informed me that he was waiting for me to bring him the door to replace the existing one with. That was NOT the original agreement. He said he would supply the door. Now I had to call around to find a door that would fit my truck. After three days, I finally was able to pick up and drop off the door that I had purchased for him to replace. This was an extra cost of about $ 300.00 just for the replacement door. Already we are over the amount we agreed upon. After I dropped off my truck I was told it would be finished the following day. I called the next day to see when I could pick it up and he said that he did not get a chance to work on it yet. I asked when he would be finished and he said that he needed another day. 7 days went by by the time he was actually finished with my truck. When I called to arrange a pick up time and when I couldn’t make the original time he wanted me to be there he said too bad and hung up on me! Can you believe that? He hangs up on a paying customer!!! I went to pick it up and handed him a check. He said that he specifically agreed to cash only and he did not accept checks. NEVER once did he mention any type of specific payment method. Who doesn’t accept a business check? He said that he wanted to avoid paying tax on the transaction and that is why he only accepts cash. I told him that was unacceptable and check was the only form of payment I had on me. After going through that with him I just wanted to get out of there and away from him. He was arrogant and rude the entire time. Not only was he untruthful about what he was going to give me for my $ 750, he went above and beyond to inconvenience me. I have inspected the job that he did and it looks HORRIBLE! The door was not installed properly as it has a huge gap where the fender meets the hinge part of the door. He was supposed to match the red color and the door looks almost pink. He got paint all over the drivers side of my windshield that I had to pay to have someone clean off. The door had a huge gash out of the paint next to the front fender and there was paint all over the inside of the door. This is the worst experience and the worst job that I have ever seen done. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
