Herb Redl Properties, also known as HRP, was founded by Hudson Valley native Herbert Redl. Over the past 60 years, Herb Redl operations has grown into the commercial and retail real estate network it is today.

Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, Herb Redl first owned and operated a service station and automobile repair/​body shop in 1949. Over time Herb’s goals grew, as did his business knowledge, and he began to purchase viable real estate thinking of commercial development and growth. Herb’s perseverance, business acumen and uncommon common sense enabled him to grow steadily over the years. Herb Redl has developed and owns over 1,000,000 square feet of retail, office, warehouse and storage space throughout Dutchess, Ulster and Orange Counties. His holdings include office buildings, shopping plazas and self-​storage facilities. He and his daughters own Guardian Self Storage, All Sport Fishkill, and The Gables residential community.
