Nail Tech

Went there 1 time never again. The lady got mad because I wanted my nails taken off, she was waiting on 2 customers at 1 time not giving the individual attention you usually get somewhere else. She actually left some of the acrylic nail on, now I have to pay someone else to take them off. They should stop worrying about their appearance and give personalized attention to customers.

Do I have to give one star? Jay didn’t even look at my nails as he was filing them. I’m pretty sure he also didn’t look as he was polishing. Gel polish more on my skin than my nails. Biggest waste of $ 28 and 45 min I’ve ever spent. I live in Philly and was home for the weekend. I pay less in Philly but get a much better manicure!

AWFUL, and painful all the way around. I got my nails done there once and will never ever do so again. Aside from the fact that the nail tech was in a rush and kept burning me with the drill thing (left it in one place too long on every nail) they were more expensive than other places and my nails didn’t even look good at the end. They were shaped really weird (the tops of my nails were like concave rather than straight across (supposed to be squared) and the acrylic was way too thick. Within a day or two the acrylic bubbled underneath and you could see a definitive line where they filled my nails at the bottom. This place just sucks, plain and simple.
Interestingly, other people in my «usual» nail place (I don’t get my nails done except for special occasions) have complained of similar problems at this place. One woman who I met at my «usual» place showed me where the Nail Tech people used the drill thing and ground right through the center of her nail and her hands got all infected with fungus. She was at my usual place to try to repair the damage and get her hands looking half decent for a wedding the next day.
Beware this place.
