I went in as part of a bridal party and I’m pretty happy with my experience! A clean, classy place that reminded me of my usual NYC salon. The staff was friendly & accommodating, and even served us mimosas during our visit.
I’m kind of a tomboy when it comes to my hair, so I went in with only some sort of clue about what I wanted. The stylist was willing to kind of play with my hair, & the end result was a classy little updo. We had 8 people in our party, and we were all more than satisfied with our looks!
I’m strongly considering getting my mother a gift certificate of some sort to try out the massage area, as it looks like it would be a nice little paradise planted in the Skook.
Will definitely be back!

DO NOT GO TO ERICA, EVER! Not only was she not personable at all but she gave me the WORST hair color of my life.
1 — I told her to cover my grays because I just turned 30 (she didn’t) Then She said, really? I thought you were older than me (33)!
2 — She gave me highlights instead of ballyage, a mistake i can overlook. But at no point did i say the world blonde. I also never said «can you give me two giant 3 inch chunks on the top of my head and nothing on the back» so the placement was very alarming to me.
3 — I seem to know more about color chemistry than her. After she bleached me, I asked if she was doing a toner and she said no. She should have as my roots were obviously lighter than the bottom of my hair which had color on it.
4 — My roots were PLATINUM. The rest of my hair was super brassy. She told me it looked pretty. I was charged full price. I cried as soon as i got in the car. The fact that anyone would let me leave a salon with that color, and charge me — shows total incompetence. I didn’t even trust her to fix it I had to go to Kendra the next day.
5 — My coworker said she got highlights from her once and they looked gray.
6 — Even though i put dark color on top of it, i still have giant panels of bleach on my head where the dark has faded. She RUINED MY HAIR. Until that hot mess grows out i will have thick, giant panels of bleach on the top of my head.
ABSOLUTE WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
I have been to Bonnie, Michelle and Kendra for services and had no problem with them.
I doubt I’ll return though, what a mess.

Always very pleased with my haircut. Everyone friendly and just getting a haircut is a nice amount of pampering. A little oasis in the city of Pottsville!

These people are snobs! I don’t know who they think they are! They are in Pottsville PA. Where the heck it that.
I walk into the salon after not having a haircut for a year because I work 60 hours a week and immediately my hair stylist Bonnie started to ridicule me and if that wasn’t enough she called over some guy I think his name is Scott to confirm her insults. I showed her how I wanted my hair cut, which she said she loved, and she agreed to cut it in that style, but tried to convince me to get it cut shorter. The cut I requested was a shoulder length shag that framed my face. I told her not to cut it shorter than what I showed her and explained that I and my husband really don’t like it short. She said «well it’s your hair» What I got was a cut above my chin at the bottom of my earlobes. The back is an inch long. I left crying. The stylist and her co workers offered no apologies. Told me it looked better than when I came in and charged me the entire $ 102. I must say the color was excellent. However, they should not have charged me for the hair cut, they should have apologized and should not have insulted me and since it is my hair she should have cut it as I requested and not done what she wanted. I will never go there again.

Sad that I moved away from this place! I would trust anyone here with any part of my person. I’ve tried everyone for cuts and colors and have always been satisfied. I have had waxing and it’s always been efficient and thorough. I try to sneak in for a quick thing or two when I’m visiting family, and they are always great to fit me in!

Attempted upscale hair joint in a wreck of a city.
I went a few times.
Tried to get some crazy dark red hair chunking coloring done while I was a late-​teen «misfit» and the «all-​natural» coloring bled out the next day turning my hair pink.
Also, I went once before and my haircut was average. I had to fix a few spots, but it was OK for Pottsville.
