Manatawny Still Works was developed to produce world class spirits with character in small batches. Our distillery is modern, but our practices are based on old world production with a reverent nod to the history of the region. From the Lenape Indians – whose name for the nearby creek we borrowed for our distillery – to historical figures of importance – for whom we named some of our very first spirits – the spirit of Manatawny is focused on quality, but rooted in the past.

History

Established in 2013.

Manatawny Still Works is a state-​of-​the-​art distiller of the highest quality hand-​crafted, small-​batch Pennsylvania Whiskey, Gin, Rum and Vodka. Situated in Pottstown, Montgomery County, PA on the banks of the Manatawny Creek – whose Lenape Indian name literally means, «where we drank liquor” – our focus is producing world-​class spirits with character while celebrating the history that surrounds us.

Within our tasting room, we operate a full service cocktail bar serving our hand-​crafted spirits and signature cocktails… come out and taste the difference.

While you’re here, be sure to take part in our distillery tours, learn what happens «…behind the barrels.» It’s a great opportunity to learn about the distillation process, the bottling and labeling of our spirits, and our barreling methods.
