I would certainly recommend Attorney Cappolella. We engaged her to do some legal work for us and we needed a quick turnaround. She was able to prepare the legal docs and get them to us for review the same day! She was extremely professional, very helpful in offering things to consider, and got the job done quickly and correctly.

Do not recommend. What should have been a super easy case – one in which I was favored or I wouldn’t have pursued it– turned into a convoluted mess which cost me dearly. First of all, Lisa needs a paralegal or a better one because she expects her client to do all the «detective» work – don’t think that is going to save money because the clock is ticking all the same. Expect to remind her of important things, or explain said things repeatedly. Perhaps this is a ploy to keep a client on the phone longer, or she simply doesn’t bother to open a client file before an appointment or call. If you catch her being deceptive, which is what happened to me fairly early on, then cut your losses. What was worrisome is that while the dishonesty was over something benign, the insistence that she had no idea about it was Emmy-​worthy. Finally, she pounced on what she deemed an «ah ha» moment – Oprah’s words, not Lisa’s – and kept going over it with the other party. It was the only original argument she came up with and it was irrelevant. She looked foolish and I looked like a fool for my poor choice of representation.
