History

Established in 1988.

Advanced Hearing Care has served Paoli and Pottstown and their surrounding communities for over 20 years. We offer a full range of diagnostic and preventative hearing healthcare professional services, including hearing screening, evaluations, hearing aids sales and service as well as industrial hearing conservation programs. We are dedicated to keeping abreast of the latest improvements in technological advancements in the hearing industry and are committed to offering the most current options to our patients.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Joan D’Alessandro, Au. D.

Business Owner

Dr. D’Alessandro is a Charter Member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and served on its Board for 9 years. In 2007 she served as President of the Academy.

In 2009, then-​Governor Ed Rendell appointed her to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Hearing Aid Sales and Registration.

«Dr Joan» as she prefers to be called, also earned the American Academy of Audiology’s Scholars’Award in 2011, 2009 and 2006. This award is given to those Doctors of Audiology who have exceeded the requirements for continuing education over a three-​year period.

She is dedicated to improving quality of life through better hearing and offers a wide variety manufacturers and styles to meet the needs of all patients. She is impressed by the ever expanding array of hearing aid technology and wireless connectivity that has arisen over the past few years. With today’s electronics the hearing impaired can have easy communication in almost all difficult situations.
