The Pro: They have a great selection of cars and the car buying process was fine.
The Con: If you buy an extended warranty, there is a radius clause
Sadly something broke on my car that was fortunately covered by the warranty but then I had the misfortune of having to deal with the service manager Ringo.
Ringo lacks any compassion for the car owners’ woes. There’s a lot of places you can choose to get your car fixed. Customer service is what sets anyone apart. They do NOT have this here at the shop.
Disclaimer: I no longer live near Portsmouth so coming here to get work done on my car means a day lost at work, half a tank of gas and my time.

Everybody was friendly and helpful here I just didn’t find what I wanted but would go back again.

As car dealers go, this is one of the better ones we’ve dealt with. Yes, it’s no haggle pricing, but their prices are in line with market value. My husband is thorough about checking that, as well as doing more than one test drive and doing a good inspection (inside, outside and underside). Couldn’t be more meticulous without a jeweler’s loupe.
We worked with Shawn in sales. He was friendly, knowledgeable, laid back, no pressure whatsoever. Let’s you take the cars without tagging along. Hubby was specifically looking for a Ford Flex to replace his little commuter car and an SUV. We had checked out several dealers between Nashua, NH and York, ME. But this place had recently got several that were former commercial vehicles. Tried a couple of them one weekend then went home to think. Returned the following weekend. This time we were there over three hours. Think we drove 5 or 6 of them and gradually whittled down to two and finally THE ONE. Ended up being the one we looked at originally. They always say go with your gut.
Shawn came to check on us periodically, and let us have at them. At one point he said his manager was willing to drop the prices on the lower base models, but they weren’t under consideration at all. Pity no such offer was made on the cars we were looking at. If anyone wants a 2014 Ford Flex SE, you might get a deal. We wanted the SEL. Almost all the bells and whistles of the Limited without the bigger sticker price.
Some people confuse this dealership with Portsmouth Used Car Superstore further south on Route 1. It’s my understanding that there is no affiliation whatsoever. Portsmouth Used Car Center is part of the Portsmouth Ford group and is housed in the same building as Portsmouth Kia.
Will definitely return here when we are next looking for a used car.

The service department has been absolutely fantastic and I’m a car fanatic. My first experience with the service department, and they were not only honest, but understanding to my situation. They provided prompt communication with what needed to be done, and did not give me the run around. Which was absolutely fantastic. I am definitely a customer gained!

The owner of this place abuses his customers. Derek, one of the salespeople was great and very patient with me as we tried to negotiate buying a new van for my business. Their prices are very competitive so there is not a lot of wiggle room, but I expected a little give and take. Derek and I had almost reached a deal when he went over to discuss the situation with whom he said was the owner. The owner was willing to take $ 295 off of a $ 21 995 sticker price for a total of $ 21 700. I counter offered at $ 21,500. He proceeded to insult me and the way I was doing business and told me to «Stop begging!» and «Just buy the car for your wife». I am a thick skinned haggler and work in the antiques business and know how to wheel and deal, but never have I been treated so rudely. I am sorry a good salesperson like Derek has to work for a low-​minded control freak like the owner. My wife who had not been involved in the negotiations and was sitting on the other side of the room and who I did not know was listening in heard the the whole conversation, got up out of her chair and said, «We need to go, we will not patronize a place where we are treated this rudely.» We walked out the door. I strongly urge people to stay as far away from this establishment as possible.

I can’t say enough good things about the service dept. at Plymouth Ford and especially the service advisor Dan Caldwell. I was traveling through the area and needed repair to a piece of the front bumper panel that I unfortunately pulled off my new Ford Explorer. When I called and told him my tale of woe, Dan didn’t hesitate to tell me to bring it right in. They had my vehicle repaired and on my way in a little over an hour. I wish they were my dealer back home.

Probably as good as a used car dealership car get. My girlfriend and myself both bought cars within a week from dealership. No Bull offered us what are trades were worth first time, no games. Very nice people Nice change from BEST FORD in Nashua that wasted a wholday of mine playing games and giving me bs offers. Will def go back for our next car with them.

After having done a lot of research, I can assure you that their prices really are much lower than the competition!
I worked with salesman Matt V. and it was a very enjoyable transaction! I got a great (no haggle) price on a car that was detailed quickly before I drove it away. I got a great financing rate and a no-​pressure offer to purchase an extended warranty. Mike K. helped me to upload my phone to the car before driving it off the lot. If you are interested in buying a used car from $ 5-​$ 25K you should visit this place!

OK I have recently had to purchase a new car as some drunk butt hole decided to total my last one while it was parked in front of my house.
Typically car shopping sucks, there’s lots of haggling and people with slicked back hair trying to find any little opening to get your money.
Portsmouth Ford is unlike any other dealership. There a one price type of place, no haggling just prices that are crazy low to begin with so you don’t feel like your being hustled.
There’s no pressure and they have the best price. My salesman’s name was Will, and he was cool. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me a range of things to look at, but he didn’t push anything on me. He gave me some time and I made my decision. It was quick easy and painless.
I picked up my new truck yesterday and I’m pretty happy about. This is my third car from Portsmouth Ford and I see no reason for me to go anywhere else.
