I have been in and around towing since my early teens. Started driving as an operator in early 80’s. I have extensive experience in light, medium and heavy duty towing and recovery. I have managed a few tow companies in central and southern california before moving to Portola.

Toddlers can get stuck in running cars.
Imagine your about to leave and you have that red light on the dash that says a door is still open. You get out to check it and two seconds later you hear «click». Junior who’s buckled into his car seat in back leaned over and locked the doors. Now I, m there with a hammer in my hand so if he so much as flinches toward the seat belt I’m going through the window while mom plays «push the little button again honey». With a 20 minute drive time Ernie is there in 22. When people have the wallet out prepared to pay what ever is requested, he laughed and said he didn’t charge for emergency child extractions! Turns out I’m not the only one. Thanks Ernie Jones your a class act.
