Business Owner
My name is Marija. I am originally from Europe. Cosmetology and beauty have been a focal point most of my life. I owned my salon in Belgrade for 15 years, where I specialized in waxing, nails, eyelash extenisions, and eyebrows. In 2009, I met my husband who lives in Portland and I decided to take the plunge and move to the United States. This was a big change, both personally and professionally. I wanted to take all the years of experience and apply them in Portland; soon after I have enrolled in cosmetology school at NWC. Learning new techniques and comparing them to European techniques was rather interesting. Out of the whole experience one technique stood out that captivated me, Sugaring. I quickly realized that Sugaring was the technique that I wanted to use as an alternative to waxing. My love for working with nail art and nails also remained so I wanted to make YourWaxyClub a place where people can get an unforgettable experience.
