History

Established in 2004.

The WORKING ARTISTS NETWORK was created to offer programs, services, workshops, courses, and marketing/​sales opportunities for working artists that best support them in creating a sustainable business and lifestyle.

These currently include: Advocacy, Business Moxie and Community Building.

WAN exists to empower artists (in any genre) and other independently employed creative professionals who identify themselves as artists. The common denominator is that our members create original work – sometimes as commissions and for hire gigs, others as stand alone projects and work – AND – are self employed or run a micro business that employs creative workers.

WAN is YOUR business association offering programs, services, workshops, courses, and marketing/​sales opportunities for working artists like you that best support you in creating a sustainable business and lifestyle.

Business Owner

I am a seeker. Artist. A love monger. And Mom. Complicated wretch. Wretched complication. I have a past that is both unique and just the same. And a present that is the cat’s meow. I suffer from PTSD and depression, am hyper creative and loving, curious and a blank canvas at 49. I have projects that scare and delight me. And I am moved by the extraordinary companions in my life. I am here to make amends, attract support, find freedom, make friends and find fans. Please join me in my journey.
