Looks can be deceiving with Winter Column. It appears at first glance to just be a set of rocks, but there seems to be some dramatic etchings. This rock seems to show some ecological history, despite being only a sculpture.
This was rather impressive. Fully immersing yourself in the three hundred and sixty degrees of space should do the trick. I should have looked at this for longer.
The artist has done a job well done.

This bronze by the abstract sculptor Hilda Morris who lived and worked in Portland. It is by the same artist who made Ring of Time in the Standard Plaza. Really I don’t quite know what to make of it. It is tall and dark.
