My wife and I took the Archive’s Introduction To Wine series, and thoroughly enjoyed it. By the end of the third class, we had both a better idea of which characteristics we prefer, as well as the ability to articulate our preferences when shopping for, or ordering wine. The mixture of instruction in a very pleasant studio atmosphere, and sampling multiple examples while learning about options made these classes engaging and pleasant. They offer classes for the general public, as well as multiple certifications for professionals in the business. The qualifications of all the people listed as instructors all seem to be at a very high level. They have a very wide variety of classes, and my only quibble is that they seem to offer so many different topics, that if you’re interested in one particular class, it may be a while before space is available in a scheduled session.
