Welcome to Wax Loft! There are a BRAZILIAN reasons for you to get waxed here. For starters, our waxing studio is located in the Alphabet District in Northwest Portland, conveniently located on the NW 18th Ave streetcar stop. After your wax, you can enjoy your day browsing the neighborhood shops or enjoying a cocktail at one of the many hip bars across the street.

Wax Loft’s mission is to offer a consistently fantastic waxing experience at a reasonable price in a clean and comfortable environment.

Skincare has always been a passion of mine. Combined with my background in Medical Sciences and patient care; these qualities make me the most caring, enthusiastic and diligent Esthetician I can be. Wax Loft is a place where you can find the most thorough, down-​to-​earth, friendly, quality waxing and skincare services in all of Portland.

Aimee has lived in Portland most of her life and loves all that Oregon has to offer. She is passionate about skincare and Portland’s bounty of organic food, great wine, music, art and amazing people. Aimee and her husband love to travel, spend time with their dog Pickles and explore the Northwest.

Unilocal to the rescue again! I chose Wax Loft because of the reviews. Aimee was awesome & very professional & friendly. I never had a soft/​hard wax procedure & it felt great! I have had Brazilian waxes for awhile now & I can say it was probably the least painful I have had!
On another note, I am not a size 16 or less and she made me feel comfortable and not self conscious at all which was one reason I hadn’t tried to look for a new place to go.
Try Aimee if you are new to waxing it if you’ve had it for years… you won’t be disappointed!

I did not think that I would ever have «fun» while getting a Brazilian wax, but somehow Aimee made the experience therapeutic! She’s so great at distracting you from the pain while also being very informative of the processes she’s taking, which I really appreciate! And she is a perfectionist, I cannot wait to go home and show off to my boyfriend! :) immediately booked for another appointment with her, not only are the prices incredible but she does a GREAT job!

I feel terrible I didn’t write a review sooner. I’ve been to Wax Loft three times now. Each time has been better than the last — which is saying a lot because the first time was amazing. I’ve seen both Carissa and Aimee now. While they each have their own style and technique, they both do amazing work. I’ve never felt so comfortable getting waxed! They’re friendly, patient, and passionate about what they do. Awesome ladies!
Yesterday, I meet with Carissa for the first time. She took the time to ask about my routines and skin type/​care. I think it made all the difference in my comfort and the final product. She had such great advice about skin care that I’ll definitely be keeping in mind. This place does fantastic work in a cute, relaxing environment with the least amount discomfort possible — great conversation and a few laughs don’t hurt either :) I’ll definitely be getting the package going forward. If you need a great wax for a reasonable price and have any apprehension or nervousness, this is the place to go to put your mind and body at ease.

Waxes are never all that painless, and I was coming in long overdue after leaving year-​round bathing suit season behind in my move up from LA. Luckily, my experience with Aimee went great. She used both soft and hard waxes, her technique was spot-​on, and she was chit-​chatty enough to keep me distracted thruout the whole process. I came out of the appointment just buzzing to my husband about sweet she is.
The single-​service space is decked out really nicely and cleanly, and it’s super convenient to the NS streetcar right on Lovejoy.
Will be happy to go back and support her business!

Aimee is the sweetest. I have a friend that sees her and decided to try her for a leg wax for my vacation months ago. I was really nervous about the pain, the skin on my legs is very sensitive so I was just putting up with shaving. Her technique is the best I’ve witnessed. I’m in the industry so I’m not new to this. It’s been great every time since. She’s got my business for sure now. And her place is very clean and well decorated which I appreciate.

as a long time leg&Brazilian waxer I’ve tried many places in the area and so far wax loft is my favorite. Very chatty and thorough (the most important quality in a waxer). Plus the coco wax smelled amazing! A little pricy but honesty worth it, especially with Unilocal deals or student discounts

Wax loft is a great small business in NW and a great place to get waxed. Aimee was super sweet and chatty while doing my Brazilian. She used both the regular soft wax and hard wax for areas that are more sensitive. She was great at constantly checking in with me about the wax temperature and my comfort. She really tries to get to know you (I was even impressed when she remembered and spoke highly of the friend who referred me).
The waxing experience was quick, relatively painless, affordable, and pleasant!

Awesome experience! Just moved to Portland and am SO happy I found Wax Loft! Aimee was great! Super friendly and helpful, and definitely took her time to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted! It is a small place — which is so nice because the experience is entirely focused on the client for the whole appointment time. This is seriously the best place in Portland for a Brazilian wax. Even without the Unilocal deal– it’s still probably the best deal in town!
I go to Carissa. She’s a real pro and makes a really painful and grueling procedure not-​bad at all.

Elizabeth is the best! She is thorough, patient, sweet, and funny. She’s all about making you feel comfortable and that you are not traumatized by having hair ripped out of your tender parts. She’s not about rushing people in and out of her door, she take her time becasue she care about her clients. You can tell she enjoys what she does. You have to put a fair amount of trust in someone that is going to putting wax on your lady/​manly business (or other parts) and «yanking» it off, she is definitely someone you feel like you can trust.

Such a great experience! It was my first time getting waxed and Elizabeth was amazing! She was so careful as to make sure that I was comfortable and that my first experience wasn’t terrifying. She went through step by step with what she was doing and was so gentle about it all. She was also really kind and funny, which made the experience a lot easier!
I really liked the setting and that she was the only one that was working in the small space and that you didn’t have to worry about other customer’s coming in and out. Lots of attention on yourself, which is nice! I can’t even think of one complaint. Booking the appointment same day was easy and quick and street parking wasn’t too terrible either.
Reasonably priced too, especially with the deal on here! I will be going back and recommending her to everyone!
