History

Established in 2013.

I have my MSW with a focus on direct practice in mental health. I am currently shifting my career focus towards personal life coaching and I am incredibly excited. I read once that if you can successfully make a small change in your life, it will give you confidence and the appetite to do more. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are surrounded by nature and much of my transformational work has been accomplished while hiking. It was on one of these hikes that the concept for my business came into true vision. Walk the Talk means putting what we want more of for ourselves into motion literally and physically. Many of us can talk a lot about what we envision more for ourselves but to truly get from A to B, we have to start propelling ourselves forward. In essence, we have to be open to the change and want to attain that fearlessly. It is in letting our strong desire to change that we open ourselves up to the possibility of so much more for ourselves.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Having been raised in California, I have always had an appreciation for the change of seasons. When I moved up to Portland, OR for college it was love at first sight. To be surrounded by forests and close proximity to the coast and the mountains is a true gift. Having attended my undergraduate course work at Lewis and Clark College, I often found myself escaping into the forest to find inspiration for a paper or just to take the time to think a decision through. After college, I worked for a few years in residential facilities working with at risk teenagers. I believe this was where I begin to see my wisdom, empathy, patience and intuition flourish. These qualities helped me to pursue a MSW in 2000. When starting my own business, I wanted to offer the option to my clients to conduct their transformational work outside.
