I always get a beautifully done mani or pedi here. The shellac is especially good and they don’t put it on too thick so it’s easier to remove. The ladies are responsive to special requests.

I’ve always had great experiences with both pedicures & shellac manicures. Due to a hectic work schedule — I was forced to try a few other shops — never again. I always make time to travel here for my mani/pedi needs. I think some of these bad reviews are about Vogue on Hawthorne(which is not related to this shop) I went there(Vogue Nails on Hawthorne), twice and left dissatisfied both times.

I had a group of wedding at this salon. I love how good service they are. The place is nice and clean with a pleasant astmosphere. They also offer different types of drinks .I had my pedi– manicure for 2 weeks from my friend’s wedding and it still in a good shape. Well done job!!! I highly recommend this nails salon

I have been here many times. Sometimes Good and sometimes bad, but the last time I Came sealed the deal. It was a while ago. Kept forgetting to write this review. For one the nail tech did not speak to me at all or explain or ask me anything. It was the most painful and awful pedicure I have ever had. I won’t be back. I want to relax and have nice looking toes when I have a pedicure not have my nails, nail beds and cuticles abused.

They take no pride in what they do. I got a pedicure and they didn’t even bother clipping or shaping my nails. They also left nail polish all over my toes. Just turning and burning the customers so they can move onto the next one. Maybe if I was a regular or asked for a more expensive service things would have been better. No chance of me coming back now though.

Went here for a pedicure with my roommate last week on a Saturday — early afternoon — and was taken care of immediately. The women that work there are super nice and friendly. We chose our nail polish color and sat down in their comfy massage pedicure chairs. The water wasn’t too hot for me although for another woman there, it was. The employees were really nice about cooling down the water for their customer. They offered us wine or tea(free!) and went away at our pedicures. We chose the Spa Pedicure($ 26) that included massaged legs, scrub, callous removal, lotion etc. They did a really great job with massaging and scrubbing. I’ve been to other places where they rub your leg for 5 seconds. This was lengthier. For some reason we had to wait about an extra 20 minutes to leave(not sure why) but otherwise everything was great! This place is CASHONLY. They have an ATM machine but it wasn’t working that day! At least they allowed one of us to leave to grab some cash at the nearby Safeway. I’m definitely returning. The reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because of being cash only and no clear signage for such.

For an Asian nail place, this is a go to. Yes they take a lot of walk ins(including me), and if you call and schedule an appointment, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be waiting sometimes. However, the place does NOT reek of acetone. Their massage chairs are in good shape and are cleaned right after a service. Their colors(which as a pink & red girl are a little limited) are always the right consistency. I’ve never seen them thin down thick lacquer with acetone. **If you need a reward or pampering, do the aromatherapy mani & pedi. Doing them together is a great rate, and what a fabulous experience.** I’ve always had perfect looking nails when I leave – both lacquer and shellac. When a friend came with me, she smudged a toe and they quickly fixed it for her. She said the other place she’d been going on NE Broadway wouldn’t have done that for her. I’ve never had an issue with them taking my check, but FYI, if you need cash, the fee at the ATM at the On Point Credit Union is cheaper.

Most of the techs here are pretty good however the only thing I really don’t like is that they spend a lot of time speaking Korean and talking about the clients. It’s completely inappropriate. And what’s bad is that you can twill they are doing it. I usually only come here when I can’t get an appointment at my favorite location in the pearl Oasis Foot spa on 12th

I love Vogue Nails! I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years and refuse to go anywhere else. The place is clean, the massage chairs are magical, and the staff is really sweet(Summer is my personal aesthetician, she is AMAZING). I think the prices are totally reasonable, and the biggest reason why is because their work lasts forever: 3+ weeks for a shellac manicure($ 26) and one month for a pedicure($ 26). In terms of some of the negative reviews, I’m dismayed that people don’t realize the difficulties that arise when we don’t all speak the same language. Don’t be a racist! If you can’t understand someone, that’s your fault, not theirs, and it doesn’t make them rude or dismissive. Personally, I have no problem understanding anyone there and feel well taken care of every time I visit.

A menu of nail services and massages is nice to pick and choose what you like. Quyen and staff are excellent in the customer service department. They offer complimentary tea or water. Sometimes they have baked items too. Full functioning massage chairs are always a plus!!!

I came in to get a fill on my acrylic nails and had a terrible experience. Quinn was not friendly and made me feel unwelcome. She was very rough and filed my skin down and it ended up being very painful. She did not make the acrylic go all the way back to my cuticle so I will have to get them filled again a lot sooner than usual. And on top of it, the fill ended up being $ 26! $ 11 more than I usually pay for a great fill and experience. I will never go back to vogue nails, it was a terrible experience overall and I left really upset.

Im very sad to say I expected more then what I received… Mom and I went here while she is in town… The technicians were distracted, left my mums feet rougher then when we arrived and my polish was so slap-dash, kinda askew, no top coat. I was very disappointed as I am always looking for a new place to get solars done– looks like it won’t be here.

Hello my name is Juliette and I am addicted to Shellac. And this is a great place to get a Shellac Mani. They get two stars because the fact is, when they actually do your nails they do them great. The issue I take with this place is their availability to get to their clients. I use to come here for the main reason that I love to be able to just walk in. And with that I understood that you can be waiting some amount of time for them to get to you. What I don’t like is walking in and them saying«yes! We have time for you» but then you wait 40 minutes to get your nails done. They mentioned one time that f I wanted to be served when I came in to schedule ahead of time. So I started doing just that, but not really noticing a difference in service. So here is where I became the bitter client who will NEVEREVER come back. Yes, I am a bit perturbed as I write this… I was in desperate need of getting my nails done, and you would only understand this if you too are addicted to Shellac. You have to maintain! Unfortunately, the timing with needing to get nails done intersected with the Children not having school. My kids love the privilege of getting nails done every now and then. Other places I have gone to usually have pretty decent prices for kid nails, so it can be a real win/win. So I called ahead, made an appointment for me, my sis and my kids. Being very clear that they would get to all of us together. We walked in, and they got started on the kids right away. My sister and I sat there and waited for about 10 minutes. Then they got started on me, and started with wrapping my fingers to remove the Shellac, then moved me over to the waiting area and started on my sister. The place was absolutely packed. They had a huge wedding party, which I am assuming they knew would be there when I scheduled. Cut to 30 minutes later, I am still sitting waiting with foil on my fingers… kids are finishing up and my sister is too. I realize they are going to be waiting for me, and my kids waiting for anything is a miserable experience for anyone. I went up to guy that seems to run the place and told him my dilemma, and he said — «that’s fine, I can just remove your shellac». He proceeded to do just that and tell me, no charge for having Shellac removed… great. Thanks dude. Then I paid up for kids… wait for it… $ 72!!! for two kids to get polish on the fricking toes and fingers. The only reason I brought them was to get my nails done. So I basically paid $ 72 and wasted an hour of my life for something I could have done in 10 minutes at home. And I did not get anything done. I don’t care how good they are, I will NOT be coming back… Signed, Bare Naked Nails…

One of my favorite nail places in Portland. Even though I moved to the west side I still try to make it back here to get my nails and toes done as much as possible.

Love this place! Quick — but great, quality service. Friendly staff. Cheap prices(Gel Mani for $ 25 — does it get any better?). Two negatives(hence the four star review): you have to pay the meter for parking and they do not accept debit/credit cards. Neither of these, however, keeps me from getting my mani/pedi fix!

I have so desperately tried to find a low-budg nail salon in Portland that does a decent job with a smile and I think I’ve finally found it! Went today for a mani and pedi and the ladies did a solid job on my friend and me. They have new-ish chairs which were comfy… well, not for my friend. Her chair was broken and the back was stuck at a 90 degree angle. As for the actual service, they have timers for the massage part so they ensure you’re getting a solid 10 min(I think). My lady was kind enough to deal with my in-grown(TMI) which hurt like a mo’ fo’ but I think she took care of it! It’s been bothering me for months. I’ll let you know if my toe gets infected(hopefully not, yeesh) but so far so good. Love that the callus removal comes with the service. Some places you have to add this on for an extra cost. Mani met expectations. Funny, though, I called to make an appointment and they just said«OK!» and hung up. No name or telephone required, apparently. I was worried because it was a weekend afternoon but they were not busy when we walked in. Good first impression of the place… the nail polish is ORGANIZED! I can’t tell you how nice this is when making the all important color decision. Lots of colors to choose from but only OPI. Would be nice to see one other brand here but no biggie. Mani/pedi for $ 35. Shellac mani for $ 10 more.
