Pacific Northwest bounty meets Mexican flair! We show you how ONLY real, whole food is delicious, how local produce and meats make all the difference in the world. We make all of our own salsas and sauces and handmade corn tortillas from special masa (certified gluten-free). Chef Noe works closely with local growers and ranchers. As these relationships continue to grow, more and better ingredients will be available to you. We love our farmers! Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and carnivore-friendly!
History
Established in 2009.
Verde Cocina started out in the wholesale sector, selling fresh packaged foods to health programs, hospitals and other retailers. From there the word got out that real food can be delicious, and if you cook them right, vegetables rock! We were soon enjoying much success at several farmers markets, and in 2011 we opened our first brick and mortar in close-in Southwest neighborhood Hillsdale, which is full of the most amazing people we are lucky to call neighbors.
