US Post Office

This post office has a rustic feel and smells «rustic» as well kind of like a homeless person is living there. It is really big though for the town of Aberdeen. Not much really seems like it’s going on in Aberdeen and this post office is an older office but it’s really big. There are entrances on basically all the sides of the building except one. The parking is different though as you basically drive down an alleyway between two streets to get to the main parking. There is no self service kiosk, as to be expected for this town (I’ll keep my thoughts to myself). Anyway, it gets the job done or at least you’re able to leave knowing you left your valuable letters and packages in the more than capable hands of the post office (again I will keep my thoughts to myself)

UGH. I deal with the post office a lot because I buy and sell ebay.
This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. It’s not just the post office, it’s the mailmen too.
A few examples:
1. I have had numerous pieces of mail that were sent to me, that got returned saying «not valid address». Every time, my address was valid.
2. I changed my address to my mom’s address (who lives across town), hoping that this would fix the problem. I had a check sent to me that got returned, again, saying «not valid address».
3. Yesterday, I received a piece of mail in my mailbox that was for an address across town. And the mail, I could tell, was really important.
4. I sent a package to an ebay customer last month. The worker at the post office sorted it wrong, so it went to California instead of the East Coast. I had to explain the the customer what happened and return their paid postage because the package took a month to get to her, rather than a week.
These are only a few examples. It seems like every time I go in there, I come out with another story or example.
I’m constantly wondering if mail is going to get to me or not. Super irritating. The only reason that I gave them 2 stars (rather than 1) is because the people that work at the office are nice. That’s the most I can say though.
