Two Brothers Computer Solutions

2 Brothers is a wonderful Portland resource and my provider of choice for any computer need. Will is very knowledgeable and seeks to deliver the best and most honest solution to whatever the issue may be. He’s resurrected my laptops twice already, and his precision and expertise make repairs more cost effective than simply replacing the machine. Would especially recommend for laptop power adapter and screen replacement. Thank you!

Only computer place I use. Seriously, if you have computer problems, go here. Very reasonable price for the repairs, Will is straight forward with the costs and work to be done.

I could not be happier with my experience at Two Brothers Computer Solutions. My computer had a nasty virus and since I have programs on it I use for work, I was in a panic to get it fixed quickly. I tried a bunch of scans myself as well as an online computer repair company that remote accessed my computer to try and fix it (and in retrospect, probably made the problem worse) and was having no luck.
I spoke to Will on the phone and he seemed confident he could get it fixed within 24 hours. I brought it in and my first impression was that he was really a nice guy. Not that that really mattered, but always a nice bonus. 24 hours later, I was informed that my computer was fixed. When I came in to pick it up, I asked if he guaranteed his work (because the virus I had seemed to keep popping up even after it was seemingly removed). He said I could always bring it back or call him and he’d remedy any issues that weren’t resolved initially. My computer is working perfectly, so there is no need.
Will also went through and cleaned up the machine so it’s running way faster and taught me a lot about keeping it virus free in the future.
I very rarely Unilocal unless the experience was polarizing — either really great or really bad. My experience here was fantastic and I really can’t recommend them enough!

Second time as good as the first! Fast, super friendly, oober-​qualified! One day service, cleaned, cleared up malware and install a simple program to notify me and block it in the future! All for less than $ 100! As a landscape designer that works out of my home, I can’t afford to have downtime, even in winter! Don’t bother calling anyone else!

I am a full time grad student working toward becoming a teacher. A working computer is a must in my daily life. I was at an elementary school, preparing to go home when a child accidentally knocked my laptop off of a shelf. It took about a 4 foot fall and I should have known better than to place it there while gathering my things, but you live and learn.
Fortunately, I had purchased a Square Trade warranty that covered accidents. My options were ship it to them and wait for them to repair it and return it, or take it somewhere locally and submit an invoice for reimbursement. Staying local allowed me to avoid the wait time.
I called Two Brothers and explained my situation — my laptop no longer recognized its battery but seemed okay otherwise, except for a ding or two. I was invited to drop by that afternoon to diagnose it and discuss options. I arrived just after 1pm and was back out the door in 10 minutes with a solution. We ordered a replacement battery and I was able to take my laptop with me to use with the power cord while we waited for parts.
The part came in 2 days earlier than I had expected. The repair didn’t take long at all. I was without my laptop for about 24 hours but it would have been same-​day if I hadn’t been stuck in class until after they closed.
I am so pleased with my experience and recommend Two Brothers to anyone needing computer work to be done. Fast, Friendly, Affordable, and I love that they support teachers! I hope I don’t need to return, but if something comes up again, I know where I’ll go.

all the ports quit working on my relatively new computer; Two Brothers had it up and running in a week and at a quite reasonable price. I am glad I did not return it to the manufacturer (it was still under warranty); local felt best and safest and it came back to me quickly and intact.

I had a very bad customer service experience from Will, the owner of Two Brothers. It took about 6 weeks and 6 times of coming in to his shop to get my computer issues resolved. I came in because my cat had thrown up on the computer keyboard and the computer was not working. Will stated he would clean out the computer and call me in a few days. He did not call after a few days so I called him. He said it needed a new keyboard after the cleaning and he would order one. He ordered the keyboard which took several days longer than he estimated and when he received the keyboard, he told me he discovered the computer battery was dead too. He ordered a battery which took also many days more than he told me it would. I also had to call him days after he said he would call me to check and see if it was in. I had numerous experiences of him telling me he would call me and did not and when I called him he would tell me he was just about to call me. The first battery he ordered was a dud so he had to order another one that also took a week and a half supposedly to come in. In the meanwhile while I was waiting for a new battery he gave me one in his shop that just happened to fit my computer. It worked perfectly, but he declined to see this used battery to me because he had already ordered a new one. I thought it may have been my old battery that he pulled out of the box that maybe wasn’t bad to begin with, but he denied this. Ultimately, Will never called me when he said he would, took 6 weeks to finish a job that should have been done in no more than 2 weeks, and refused to sell me a battery that worked in his shop that was sitting in a cardboard box, but made me pay for a new one which took weeks to get. I’m very dissappointed with his company and will definitely not be back.

Incredible!!! One day turn over, cheaper than anyone else, Free installation of Apache Open Office, which I now love, My machine runs great and Will said that if I have the same problem I can bring it right back in. They really put in the extra effort. They will do a lot for 75 dollars. Trust me, this is the best computer repair in the city. Right next to Bushwhacker Cider.

My hard drive died on a laptop that I thought was maybe reaching the end of it’s life span. The symptoms included a screen that would flash and go black, windows not booting and the blue screen of death. The comp just didn’t work anymore. I brought it to Two Brothers and they immediately recognized the problem and suggested a solution. They gave me several options– I chose one and left my laptop with them for a few days so they could order the part. I just brought it home tonight and the laptop is behaving as if I just bought it and brought it home. It’s like a brand new computer! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone and am 100% pleased with their service. Very friendly! When my 6 year old desktop finally quits I’ll be taking it there!

I just went to Two Brothers Computer Solutions with a wicked virus on my laptop a few hours ago… and I am pleased to say, I am writing this review on that same laptop right now! In just a few hours he had my laptop totally cleaned up, Java and everything else updated, needless toolbars erased, a new anti-​virus installed, and he even installed firefox for me! It was all super affordable and an all around friendly experience. If I ever have a computer problem, I am definitely coming back here.

Not only was the service fast and very affordable for a broke college student, but they were incredibly generous and kind. I have been meaning to write this review for some time. When my very important school data couldn’t be retrieved the owner replaced a part in order to access the data, without charging me for this extra effort. I recommend them to anyone needing computer services, and will continue to come back for business. I can’t say enough how impressed I was with them.
