If you want to sell your property and lose money, contact the Rian group. Pushy with a lack of communication. As others have mentioned, it appears all they are interested in is their 6%. I won’t use them again.

Same problems with cold calls as the other reviews! BOTH my husband and I receive daily calls regarding a rental property we have. We have asked several times to be taken off of their call list, to no avail. WHY would we EVER work with them? If they are so pushy and unresponsive to our needs I can only imagine how horrible it would be to actually work with them! They will never get a cent from us.

I am receiving DAILY SPAM calls FOR OVER A YEAR to my cell phone from this company. Today I finally answered and «Tess» at least identified herself. I told them to take me off the list. I sold my house by-​owner July of 2013. I never contacted Rian Group in any way. Because I posted it on Zillow they collected the for-​sale information and have been harassing me every since I told them on the FIRST CALL very politely «No thank you». The second call was still polite however more specific «I already said no thank you, don’t call again, take me off your list, this is rude.» By the way I sold my house in less than 30 days myself. It’s not hard.

Horrible service. Very pushy sells tactic. They don’t care what exactly you are looking for, knowing that the house is the biggest investment in your life. All they care about is making deals and get their 6%.
I will never ever deal with the Rian group again.

My husband had heard of The Rian Group on a national syndicated radio talk show. He was impressed with their marketing strategy and shared his insights with me. Within a few days, we met with their agent, Michael who presented The Rian Groups marketing plan. Their agent, Michael compared our home, which is a custom built home on 1.25 acres within the city, beautifully landscaped with a many amenities you will not find in a traditional home. Michael compared our home to homes that are considered «track» developed, not unique, mostly comparing ‘square footage”, thus instructing us that we should list our home for xxx amount based on these «cookie-​cutter» homes. After two offers, which fell through (buyers backed out at last minute — due to size of home and acreage — yes it is a lot of home and beautiful yard), we had a third offer. Michael was persistent telling me over the phone that this offer was as good as it was going to get. We had already, stupidly, listed our home way below the market value — which I will never do again. Realtors need to be realistic that when they are negotiating or attempting to swoon their client, that they need to look at the home individually in today’s market, thus providing a «fair» market value of their home and acreage. Upon the last offer, Mr. Rian himself entered the conference call and told me «I have to take this offer». Needless to say, no one — especially a broker should demand of a client to «take this offer». I was insulted and angered and came to the realization that the bottom line this «company» was in for was to make their commission. After telling Mr. Rian himself that he was out of line with his «demands, I immediately phoned the agent back, and instructed him to take our home off the market and remove their sign from property within the next 24 hours.

I was contacted by The Rian Group about a house that had been previously listed. I scheduled a call to hear their pitch, but after doing some due diligence decided there was too much negative written about them so cancelled the call. Later I was contacted by Moss, who said he was the manager. I told him my concerns and he acknowledged the problems, said he had been cleaning this up, and that things had changed in the past five or six months. I cautiously scheduled another time to talk with them to get a market analysis. I was told I’d be working with Mike, their best agent. The next day I received an email from the operations manager confirming the date and time for the call. The appointment was two days ago and I’ve never heard from them.

I called and emailed three times to see a home listed by the Rian Group. After 5 days (most agents call you back in hours) I was a able to set up an appointment. ONE hour before the appointment they called to cancel. My fiancé had already arranged to miss work on short notice to see the place and we were on our way when we got the message. Needless to say we where not happy.
We were told that they would call us back that day to reschedule, but have still not heard back three days later.
Very unprofessional.

This real estate «group» looked impressive on the Internet. A «Marketing Specialist» called me to schedule an appointment to list my house. The confirmation emails and phone calls gave me confidence that they would be a professional organization. Unfortunately the agent did not show up for our scheduled and confirmed appointment. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. I emailed the «Office Manager» and Aaron Rian, the broker, and after a week, I still haven’t even received a response. If you want a realtor that will do what they say and respond to you, DO NOT CHOOSE The Rian Group.
