The Purple Caterpillar

Cool place, nice hookahs and lots of comfy couches. Extremely friendly staff and good assortment of complimentary snacks and refreshments. Very chill and relaxed vibe and atmosphere. Only down side is they don’t sell alcohol.

Where do I start, I truly appreciate the Purple Caterpillar. This is the spot I can go to relax after work and enjoy a variety of music and people laughing and conversing with one an other.
The hookah has never been anything less then perfect, the complimentary drinks, snacks are a plus. There is no place like this in the state of Maine do yourself a favor and stop in you will not be sorry!!!

The staff here are fantastic. They are very attentive and super friendly. I am impressed by their crazy game collection, and the artist that did all of the paintings is clearly very talented. Unfortunately for me, we do not have any hookah lounges this nice in Phoenix. Since their move they have added so many cool features, including a video game table! The seats are comfortable, making it easy to feel at home. With complimentary beverages, free snacks, games to play, the comfy furniture, and cheap prices, it makes you never want to go home! Just be sure to bring your ID, they do card and can’t let you in without a valid ID.

Love it here. Jess and Devon are super nice. It’s a cozy hang out with big comfy couches. The music is great. One night they had disney and another night was 90s pop. Always something fun. They have games (including a Wii and an classic arcade games). They also offer free drinks and some snacks. The tea selection is fantastic.

Myself and two others visited this lounge tonight and I can say, having visited a good number of hookah lounges, this was the absolute most pleasant experience I have ever had at one.
We took the trek all the way from the Waterville area specifically for this and I’m so happy we did. The gentleman working there was so helpful and available for questions and service, the menu is simple and easy to understand, the amenities (free coffee/​tea and other beverages, plus board games and free WiFi) are well-​kept and welcoming, the atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal and so well-​constructed in the positive vibes it creates for everyone there, and of course the quality of the hookah product they offer presents a smooth pull and a subtle, very palatable flavor.
The couches and tables were clean, the equipment is clearly very sanitary and well-​kept as well, and it made you feel like you were in your own living room, lounging with friends.
I had such a great time. I would recommend this to every friend I have, even out-​of-​state. There is not a single negative thing I can say about this establishment.
