Specialties
We do mostly east coast style sandwiches with northwest taste in mind. Highest quality ingredients, locally sourced when possible. Several meats and all condiments prepared in house. We recently switched to organic eggs for the breakfast sandwiches and mayo. Our house made ketchup is loved by most everyone who has had it. It is made from Alta Cucina tomatoes, cane sugar, kosher salt and spices including clove and allspice, no high fructose corn syrup! The mustard is made from yellow mustard seeds soaked in Roots Organic IPA for two weeks then blended with pinot gris, vinegar, cane sugar and a touch of Beaver horseradish. We prepare the Carlton Farms pork loin in house. The cheese steak is thin sliced Painted Hills top round. A lot of love goes into the preparation, and we feel you will taste it. Enjoy.
History
Established in 2009.
We felt like there was a void to fill in the late-night cheese steak category in downtown. And, really, you can’t have too many sandwiches.

I worked at a Jersey style deli in West Virginia. I missed the cheese steak we made there, so after working for years in the portland restaurant/bar scene, I decided to branch out on my own. Hope you enjoy these sandwiches as much as i do. Thanks for your support.
