History

Established in 2004.

After 8 years of living in Tokyo Japan and running my own executive search firm, I decided to return to Portland Oregon to pursue a better quality of life and a career in real estate. I like to experience things «hands on» so I acquired a few wonderful older homes and began the work of renovating them with the help of a good local contractor. The work was a very rewarding experience and provided me with a sound investment.

These days I continue to work with investors and home buyers finding suitable real estate in the greater Portland area. My greatest asset is my knowledge of the local market and ability to match a person’s needs with a suitable property. I have also established a good network of lenders, contractors and home inspectors who can make the home buying process easier from start to finish.

Business Owner

Rambo Halpern grew up in the Bay Area and later moved to Southern Oregon. He has attended the University of Oregon as well as universities in Mexico and Japan. He has a B.A. in International Studies.

Rambo spent over 8 years living in Japan where he ran a successful headhunting company, helping candidates find careers in Fortune 500 companies.

After returning to Portland Oregon in 2002 Rambo began his career in real estate by acquiring a number of older homes and remodeling them with the help of good local contractors. The experience was invaluable. Rambo made many contacts with lenders, home inspectors and contractors and the finished homes provided him with a sound investment.

In 2004 Rambo became a licensed Realtor and began helping people find homes and investment property to suit their needs. Specializing in Bungalows, Halpern launched his site www​.the​bun​ga​lowguy​.com and currently lives in a Bungalow in N.E. Portland.
