Dr. Jeff Burstein is an accomplished and experienced Oral Surgeon with advanced training in anesthesia that allows patients the opportunity for a safe, caring and comfortable atmosphere during surgery. He strongly believes that all patients should be treated with respect and professionalism. Patients rarely look forward to oral surgery, but it is important to Dr. Burstein that they have the best experience possible. Throughout his career he has worked closely with a variety of general dentists and specialists and they have given him a great perspective on all aspects of patient care.

Business Owner

Dr. Burstein earned his dental degree from UCLA and then completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California. While there, he completed six years of hospital-​based surgical and anesthesia training at Los Angeles County Medical Center. He is a board certified Oral Surgeon and has published several articles on implant dentistry. He enjoys lecturing and sharing his knowledge with his surgical and dental colleagues.

Dr. Burstein has been an active member of the oral surgery hospital staff at Portland’s Providence St. Vincent Hospital for several years. At the hospital he treats emergency patients without the financial ability to seek traditional care. In addition, at the hospital he will treat his private practice patients that require more extensive surgical procedures and those who are medically compromised.

Dr. B, as his staff and patients call him, has practiced oral surgery for over ten years and is still as passionate as the day he started.
