It is a quiet apartment complex, nothing fancy, in fact old but spacious compared to places that rent for similar price. Nice neighborhood but i was a bit far for my work so I moved out after a year. The big shock is the move out fees… No matter how much you clean they will find something. I spent a whole day to make the 2bd/2.5bth apartment spotless and paid $ 340… From the few scratches on the counter, to the only drawer that a forgot the receipts in, to crumbs in the fridge(i never used the drawers so it did not occur to me that they need cleaning) — they took pictures and showed me as evidence as… I wonder how much would they have charged if I had pets, kids, or smoked… The sad part is they did not vacuum the carpet or cleaned the bathrooms properly since the places i did not had time to finish properly still had the dust. I do not think the new apartment complex I moved in will be better or I will get my security deposit back but at least while signing the lease, they gave me a form stating all the cleaning/replacing charges. I moved from east coast and i am used to paying a months rent as security deposit but for the first time in my 10 year renter life I did not get my security deposit back. I wish instead of charging me for all these stupid stuff, they did their work. There was a big bird dirt on the bedroom window it was still there… The building façade and stairs need serious paint job… The gym is so old, I only used once and never went back again since I saw someone spitting on the carpet. It has been two months since I moved out and their ad for the unit is still on craiglist. I could have continued staying there if they did not increase the rent but now with the things they did — never! I do not think an empty apartment is helping their business, but they do not know any better…
