Subway

This subway is across the street from work, so it’s convenient to stop by during my lunch break.
The first few visits I would go with a co worker and we would each order a 6 inch sub and a drink. The pricing here seems a little outrageous considering I paid $ 16 for two six in subs and one small fountain drink.
The last two visits were the worst as I brought in a buy ANY sub get one free of equal or lesser value coupon to use with a friend. The Russian lady who owns this store told me I could only use the coupon for a 6 inch sub. The coupon says ANY size sub so I wanted to get a 12 inch sub to get a better value. She argued with me at the front desk, called corporate to get «an approval» of some kind, although she is the owner and could override the computer herself. After about ten minutes of waiting at the counter and holding up the line, she finally rung us up and let us get the 12 inch subs, with purchase of a drink.
I went back yesterday with another coupon I received for a buy ANY 6 inch sub for $ 6 today only. My friend who is also a part of the subway rewards program had the same coupon so we went to take advantage of the $ 3 sub. As I went to the register to pay for mine the owner tried telling me that I had to buy a drink in order to get the sub for $ 3. Fine, anything to just sit down and enjoy my lunch. My friend however showed his coupon to her, and she told him his sandwich didn’t qualify for the $ 3 sub… After the sandwich was already made and she knew we each had s coupon. The coupon says in caps ANY 6 inch sub. He ended up paying $ 7 for his sandwich. Do yourself a favor and drive one mile down the road to the Tigard subway. This woman is not worth your time or money.

This location would be so much better without the Russian lady working there. She is pushy, rude to her employees, and makes terrible sandwiches. I’d bump this up a solid 2 stars if I didn’t have to worry about her not toasting my sandwich. It’s not a hard job, and everyone else seems to do it well, but she is too frazzled and rude to be in this line of business

The manager/​owner lady with the heavy accent is incredibly rude and demanding. She makes me uncomfortable and always is hostile towards her employees. I want to come to a place where I’m appreciated as a person, not a sandwich and a price tag. Also, where the employees are appreciated. Happy, not rushed employees make better sandwiches. I realize she travels around to several subways. If she could kindly stay away from this one, the awesome remaining employees will bring the customers back.

Twice I showed up at this location during business hours, and they’ve been closed. Don’t waste your time find another location.

Had to get a break job and decided to eat at this subway next door while I waited for my auto repair. I think one star is too much for this subway. Stale bread kept in cooler. Terrible ! Don’t eat here. Go across the street to Frack Burger. I’m aye it is better.

This subway was actually a little bit below your average subway, food was OK, the people making the sandwich were a little bit slow, nothing special about this subway

This Subway is right across the street from where I live. It’s always empty it’s never been busy when we go. The workers are super slow and don’t multitask well when there are 3 or more customers.

This location does not honor any of the national deals or coupons. The owner snaps at her employees and corrects their every move. It makes for a very uncomfortable customer experience. A few of my sandwiches have been made with stale bread.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The young guy working the bread section seemed to have been let out of the basement to work his shift and came across as WEIRD… He kept asking me questions while staring at the wall… The older woman who couldn’t speak a word of English kept asking me questions that I didn’t understand.
This Subway location is out of the way for almost everyone and I know it has to be hard to find qualified people to work here, but just hiring weird untrained staff seems stupid.
*They actually took the time to evenly spread out the veggie toppings, which was about five olives and six pieces of lettuce… Subway you raise your prices and now skimp on toppings, thanks.
THIS SUBWAY SUCKS. I’ll NEVER return to this Subway unless someone else is buying.

They’re like any other Subway I’ve been to. The people are polite, the bread is stale, the sandwiches are generally overpriced (compared to somewhere like Big Town Hero). It’s a good 24 hours place though, so I’ll keep stopping by every now and then.

Bait and Switch shop. They don’t honor any national advertisements or coupons. There is no way to tell they don’t honor coupons until you’re already at the register and then they try to make it feel like it’s your fault they don’t honor coupons!
The employees are nice and seem sincerely embarrassed by the owner’s rude behavior toward customers. You’ll get what you pay for here. Don’t expect anything beyond an average sandwich and don’t expect them to carry any of the great deals or sandwiches you see on TV. Even the $ 5 foot long advertisements aren’t honored. I don’t know why they even call it Subway if they don’t participate in the promotions. It’s just an average sandwich place. You can get a better sandwich elsewhere. Oh and they will nickle and dime you here for any veggie they feel is «extra» on your sandwich.
If you want an AMAZING Subway sandwich and the best customer service ever go to the one in Tigard across from Fred Meyer! Only a few minutes away and a million times better. The manager here should go there and learn how to really run a business.

this subway is a total rip-​off! they do not participate in the «februany» or any other NATIONAL promotions! false advertising! bait and switch! greedy! her employees are great and very embarassed she refuses to honor the specials.
i spoke with corporate subway three times within one month and the owner of this subway refuses to contact me. obviously she does not really care about her customers nor does she care she has lost a loyal, long-​time customer. i will go elsewhere from now on and tell everyone i know how horribly this franchise is operated.
