I saw a car online, so I emailed and asked the price. I was told $ 20k. So I brought the family in, took for a test drive. I liked the car, but I thought it was in worse condition, so I offered $ 19k. The salesperson took the offer back and the closer came out and told me the car would cost me $ 27k. I was like, «WTF, why are you increasing the price», they tried to claim that they got the cars mixed up, but that is not the case as I told them the stock number and described the car make/​model, and I called back to confirm and both times they told me it was $ 20k. This company plays games, jerks you around, and could care less. When I told them I didn’t appreciate their dishonesty, all they said was «we understand». I recommend you don’t waste your time. Also they told me that they typically finance their cars at 30% above the retail value. This means they charge you 30% more if you need financing! STAY AWAY!
They call this an honest mistake, but it was not. When I was told a higher price, I told the salesman I was going to lunch and to call me with the price. He called me a half hour later with the original price. Lied twice, definitely shady stuff. Ignore their response, it’s just another lie.

The worst experience of my life. I bought a car there which was great until it had a water leak. They took my car for a week and gave me a piece of crap loaner. It broke down! I got another piece of crap loaner and later called to find out about my car. I heard that it was the door leaking, later it was at a specialist shop, and lastly I got pissed and went in in person and said give me my car now! I got my car and they had ripped the temporary plate out of the window. The car still leaked! I ordered the parts and it takes about 30 – 45 minutes to fix, not a week. They used the old address from my drivers license so I didn’t get any paperwork from the loan company and had to call them instead. Do not get a car here. Sometimes their shenanigans may work out okay, but if things happen like they did with me you’ll be extremely sorry. When they answer the phone nobody knows anything about anything. They suck! Save yourselves the heartache and go down the street, or just don’t buy a car! It was that bad!

After a long day of car shopping and meeting a lot of nice dealers, I saw another car I wanted to see on-​line. I saw it was open till 7 and on the way home. I called them and the guy refused to give me the address until I told him my name and what car I was interested in looking at. When we pulled up the guy came out and stood by the car. I was on the phone and finished my call and got out. Before I got out the guy kinda huffed and walked back inside. When I got to the door he greeted me and asked if I was Suzanne, I said yes, I came to look at the red 350 Z. He motioned for us to come in and asked me briskly, well how are you going to pay for it, cash or finance. I should have said in pennies ! But I was taken aback at the weird question and said, well I’d like to see it before discussing how I’m paying for it. He said, ’ why should I bother showing you the car only for you to fall in love with it before finding out how you’ll pay for it. Ok, I’d been car shopping all day, but I don’t think I looked like I was a homeless gal. I said why should I tell you anything without first seeing the car. He kinda shrugged like he didn’t care. Then I said, well I won’t be paying for anything here and left. He went back in and seemed to share the joke with a guy in the office. Very unprofessional and rude treatment. I think it was Derrick & Jason on duty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have no idea how to treat customers. I’ll buy my 350 Z tomorrow from one of the other lots I was treated great from. Just waiting for my credit union to open.

With the exception of Elliot, the actual salesperson that helped me, this was an awful experience. Went to see 4runner listed at $ 3588-​full retail. When we got there, the truck had a flat, no gas, and the coolant was bone dry. It spat white smoke when they started it up for 15 minutes. Had to stop to get gas for the test drive. Car drove ok, but check engine light was on, and obviously the white smoke from the tail pipe is a concern.
I asked to have a pre-​purchase inspection and it was immediately evident they didn’t want to do it. I made a fair offer based on the test drive and condition of the car, which was «fair» at best and not anywhere near worth full-​retail in its current condition and with several potentially major unknowns. They said they were not willing to move from the price. I asked if they would take it to get the pre-​purchase inspection at MY EXPENSE and they did not respond.
During the process it became evident that this was not a car they really want to sell, more that they just list it every day on Craigslist to get people to come to the lot, and then push them into a more expensive vehicle.
Its a real bummer to have experiences like this. The car was what I needed– not perfect, fixer upper, and I was willing to work with them. Any normal buyer would want to have it inspected as I did, but they wouldn’t go for it, even though its really in their best interest.
82^nd is always shady, and unfortunately Stop and Go was no exception.
I’d stay away.
***UPDATE UPDATE
Finally had the 4runner inspected (at my expense) and was told it needed $ 3300 worth of work AND a new engine. Needless to say I passed on that car. Oddly enough it is was re-​listed again the very next day and is still being listed on Craigslist. When I contacted them to tell them it was a crime to sell that car, (still at the same price no less), this is the response I got:
«The vehicle has been sold and the customer pre purchased a new crate motor. We had to share the info about the inspection. We’re feeling less shady daily based on a large % of our inventory is 2010 and up and we sell we inspect everything and do all in our power to make the cars perfect.

We saw the car we wanted from the street, even though it wasn’t detailed and priced to sell, we asked for the price and it was sold to us! Today it’s getting detailed and we can’t wait to see what it’ll look like with the end results. Soe & Dell helped us get all financed & set up with insurance, they were very helpful through the whole process and got us a good deals throughout. We are very excited to announce that as a newly married couple we made our first car purchase :)

Love my stop and go auto team! They have always taken great care of me– 2 vehicles purchased. If you are looking check them out! Ask for Dell, Craig, or Justin. They’ll hook it up.

Worst customer service ever! No professionalism whatsoever. They used curse words. And when we expressed concern they said «whatever» and «well you’re tricky». After saying that we changed our minds, they wouldn’t give our keys to our trade in back. They kept saying someone else has the keys. Basically, they were holding us hostage by not giving us the keys back and allowing us to leave. Also, there was someone else there that DIDN’T have a license and they were trying to convince him that they can «pull tricks» to get him a loan. Which is highly illegal. Never deal with them. They are scummy salesmen that don’t care about the customer other than making as much money ass possible, even if it ruins families lives

They fucked up my financing by failing to read the details of my credit report. So after driving off the lot, I had to return and re do all the paperwork. That wouldn’t have bugged me, BUT, Titan, their self proclaimed financing guru, decided to be scum bag and sneaked some additional «car theft protection» into the paperwork, which cost an extra 1500. 1500 for a service you absolutely don’t need, since you already have car insurance. This place reeks of bullshit. Same as any other used car plot on 82^nd.

Purchased my Nissan Infinity at Stop And Go Auto last week. Elliot and Will were the best! Elliot took the time to show me several SUV options, was very personable and a joy to spend a very hot (99 degree) afternoon with. Will offered me a pretty decent deal, was patient with my indecisiveness and he took extra measures to make sure the vehicle is in good working order. I will come back to work with Elliot and Will for my next vehicle. thanks guys!

Re: Sergio. I came in to look at a VW Jetta Tdi that I saw on Craigslist. The VW that was advertised wasn’t actually a TDI, but a gas engine, so the sales person too me to a TDI Passat instead. The diesel engine on the Passat needed a tune up at the very least, so I was going to take it to my mechanic for a check before buying it. The guy who was trying to close the sale was receptive to my low offer for the car, but I didn’t like the way he was treating me so I decided to walk away from the deal.
Honestly, I think you’ve got some good people working for you and maybe your sales model is working, but it’s not the right fit for me. Frankly, and I hope this is constructive, I wasn’t impressed by the condition of a lot of the cars on the lot. My expectation is that the dealer has done their due diligence to make sure that every car that leaves their lot is in excellent condition and the staff provides excellent customer service. That’s how loyal customers are won. If your product and service is superior, people will keep coming back and they’ll tell their friends.

Thankfully Sergio was true to his word and fixed the issues and even after taking it in to the shop twice to be fixed had me come back a third time to finally have it detailed! Even though it was the worst detail job that i have ever seen.
It is only because of Sergio taking care of all these issues that I raised the stars on this review! I still will never go back there again EVER!

Recently bought a jeep cherokee from these guys and besides a few minor problems that any 10 year old used car would have, it was a sold car well worth the price. Drove off the lot with a financial plan and a warranty and a smile on my face. Two days later a rod busted in my engine. Right away we call the dealership and without any hesitation they tell me they will send a tow truck and a loaner car until they find out what’s wrong. This all happened without even touching at my warranty. They ended up having to swap motors and not even charging me a cent. Two weeks later and my car is running smooth and better than ever. They are very helpful and not your average 82^nd used car dealership. Great people and very helpful. Go there for your next car.

Seriously, the only good thing about this place is the fact that it HOPEFULLY will help build our credit. Oh and we have a car that runs! Very aggressive– pushy– and just not straight forward! Didn’t even tell us that we needed FULL coverage insurance until we bought the car! So if I hadn’t of had the insurance I had then the car that we just bought would have to stay there! Very ridiculous and not professional… Ps my car smelt like cigarettes!
Oh and as we walk in someone coming out said «don’t buy a car here!” — we should have listened!

Dealt with Jason who was rude, condescending, and made misleading statements like, «could probably work something out for you» and «I am confident we can match or beat that offer». I was aware of my credit score and upfront about the details of my situation yet Jason felt it necessary to say «you need to be realistic» when I had no expectations to begin with and was just shopping around to see if I could get a better deal than one I had with another dealer. Sounds like Stop and Go could use a lesson on how to treat potential customers.
Additionally, they wanted $ 13,000 for an ’05 Audi with over 100,000 miles. I had been doing a lot of research about market value, pricing, etc. and what they were asking was inflated by about $ 2,000.

I was here looking at a 02 subaru wrx with high miles! I rode my bike to the dealership and I was out in the lot for 20 mins before a single salesman spoke to me. I felt as if they were stereotyping me just because I was young and had a bike. I even saw a salesman walk past us while talking on the phone and smoking. He was wearing a Oregon ducks jacket. The car was in fare condition and they were selling it for 14k which is 6 grand over the kbb. Who does that? I understand that they need to make some money but I’m was not going to pay that much for a piece of shit!
Even worst! They wanted to run my credit just to test drive the car. I understand if it’s a new car or something that’s at least 20k but really? A 2002 wrx with 134 000 miles! Carl was giving me such a bad attitude and told me that he had to run my credit and if he didn’t I was going to «light him up». I immediately walked right out because these guys are straight up dicks. Very pushy and in helpful. These guys must be flipping cars because Carl said he would make the 14k wrx go down to 10k. I asked other car shoppers if they had their credit ran before test driving cars and they all said no. It clearly shows that these car salesman were stereotyping me based on my clothes and age.

If I could give NO stars I definitely would! Was going to buy a car and got stuck there 2 hours! Got called in for work and they kept lying and bsing about who had my license and car keys and where they were! I got to work 30 mins late cuz of these aholes. They took my debit card as a «deposit» and I had to go back for it the next day. The manager there FRED called me a trap deal because I kept leaving. I have a ²⁴⁄₇ on call job and they failed to understand that, their customer service is DEPLORABLE just because I went into the dealer with all my research done. Dont go here to buy a car WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
