History
Established in 1998.
Still Moving Yoga’s Director, Jim Gillen has been practicing yoga for nearly 40 years. He started in his teens when he first started using yoga as part of his martial arts training, later in his 20’s he discovered the many therapeutic benefits of yoga while recovering from both workplace (repetitive movement) and sports-related injuries. In 1997, together with his wife, Lynea, they started teaching and built their neighborhood studio, Still Moving Yoga.
Having taught over 5,000 yoga classes to diverse ages and abilities «YogaJim» has a very practical and safe approach to teaching yoga. Lynea also brings nearly 40 years of yoga experience, as well as dance and music training to her teaching. And while Jim and Lynea have studied the more esoteric aspects of yoga, they bring a clear, down-to-earth and fun teaching approach to their classes.
