I am giving this location one star because of the girl named Abby. She has NO customer service whatsoever. She did not say hi, she was cocking her head to the side and acted like she did not want to help me or my mother with our order.

Pros: Fast and friendly service. Plenty of seating. Cons: Lots of that seating is occupied by neighborhood weirdos who spend a lot of time here. If you get annoyed by people who look like they have to inform the police whenever they have to move, don’t plan on spending a lazy afternoon here. They bring playing cards, coupon books, and they don’t leave.

This is right on the backside of Fred Meyer in an unassuming strip mall(then again, are strip malls anything otherwise?!) but parking is crowded on a weekday, alas it’s FREE. You would have no idea from the front but this is a LARGE Starbucks with 2 dining tables with 6 chairs each and 15+ smaller tables for 2 – 3 people. There’s a bunch of great soft chairs too. Very impressive! Largest of any Starbucks I’ve visited.

Great staff and fast service. As a regular customer. They all know my name and my favorite drink. It’s a very good location. Weekends can be busy with a lot of seating full. But during the week you can always find a seat. Thx guys.

The female barista today was great– I ordered four drinks and she was efficient, sweet and organized. All the drinks came out perfectly and as ordered. Happy customer. That said, the barista named Chris that’s often there is more preoccupied with his hair/coolness etc than he is with customer service. Drinks never come out right, he’s brusque and snobby. Not a fan. The location of this Starbucks brings me back here weekly(it’s right next to my grandma’s retirement center and I get myself coffee and coffee for the nurses that take care of her). Here’s hoping for the female barista(I didn’t see her nametag).

This place is usually hopping, so I’m grateful when I can find a quiet corner to sit, read, and enjoy an Earl Grey tea. The baristas are efficient, friendly and professional – Starbucks knows how to train and maintain solid customer service. The café is always clean and comfortable. I personally like sitting outside – it’s quieter, and it’s a great place to read or people watch. It’s also a good opportunity for me to enjoy OPP(other people’s pets). Starbucks – and I think most Starbucks do this – keeps a clean, filled water bowl out for pets who happen by, and it’s amazing how many golden retrievers – my very favorite breed – happen by.

A decent Starbucks with a nice staff that does a good job making drinks. They work pretty quick too but then again they are usually not too crowded which is also nice.

Everyone here is super duper nice and upbeat. If there’s a long line, it goes quick and customer service is never lacking. The drinks are always up to or above par and they personalize everything. I LOVE loving within walking distance of one of the best Starbucks in Portland.

I stopped by here again on Friday on my way to work and as always was struck by the friendliness of the staff here and the neighborhood feeling. I had an Americano and a morning bun and enjoyed those as well as enjoying soaking up the upbeat atmosphere.

starbucks are starbucks this location outside the Beaverton Fred Meyer has evolved. Very nice clerk was friendly and amiable. A cute child and father sat next to me. Filled with eld folks and kids… but your average business person was present as well. Big and roomy, loud. Got a house coffee and sat a bit. They offer live music, too.

It’s Starbucks. You already have an opinion. These are my thoughts on this particular location. This is my Starbucks of choice when I’m in town. It’s convenient for me, and is seldom crowded. Service is almost always good, and the other customers are usually pretty friendly. I say the service is almost always good because this one time(at band camp – no, wait, that’s something else), I ordered, then went to the barista delivery counter to wait. And I waited. And waited. Not one to suffer in silence, I axed ‘em, I axed ‘em, I say, about my order. They embarrassedly realized their mistake, got me my order toot sweet(even though they weren’t watching«Chitty Chitty Bang Bang»(written by Ian Fleming, with Roald Dahl writing the lyrics – betcha didn’t know that!)) and – here’s where they redeem themselves – gave me a «free drink» card. A-OK! I got two«Portland» Starbucks mugs here, one for me and one for the wife. I still use mine on the weekends(she prefers her Snoopy mugs. What can I say?). My mug is the perfect size for the amount I like to drink, and when it isn’t, I chuck some ice in the leftovers for a quick afternoon pick-me-up. Rant begins: I imagine that most people who«resist corporate coffee» would have patronized Starbucks when it was just one store in Seattle. Could they explain, please, why that one store, with its handful of employees, is «better» than this wildly successful company that employs thousands directly(and even more indirectly), this company that brought quality coffee to American palates, this company that has had such a positive economic impact both domestically and internationally? (*grumble, grumble* anti-capitalist ninnies *grumble, grumble*)

This Starbucks is big, but oddly crowded. Why are all these people hanging out and chatting at 10am on a Tuesday? There’s plenty of seating, tons of tables, and even splintery wooden benches outside if you’re rather stare at the back of Fred Meyer than listen to other people’s coffee orders while you sip your latte.
