Kat was my doula for my first birth and I couldn’t be happier with the support and guidance she provided. I knew I wanted a hospital/​midwife birth but it was important to me to have someone to help normalize the medical experience and help me be strong during labor and she did this exactly (and helped me keep my sense of humor and wonder about everything), even when interventions were necessary. I also saw her for pre-​birth acupuncture and strongly recommend combining this with the doula experience as it helped us get to know each other and greatly helped my anxiety in the final weeks of pregnancy. Kat also had great connections for Lactation support and placenta encapsulation. She has your back and I strongly recommend to anyone looking to expand your birth support team.
