History

Established in 2011.

Sophia began working with clients taking her personal experience and knowledge in living a vegan lifestyle and sharing it with the world. People often sought her advice on how to feel better physically and so Mindfoodness was born. She began to direct them toward changing their food habits and other mindful practices (such as meditation and yoga). She counseled people on how to transition to a plant-based lifestyle safely, smoothly, and enjoyably. She continues to teach clients how to avoid common allergens in their cooking and she provides vegan meals to clients who are too busy to cook. She has worked with clients suffering from an array of chronic illnesses.

Meet the Business Owner

Sophia T.

Business Owner

Chef Sophia conceived of Mindfoodness after beginning her own journey into mindful eating. She discovered that by eliminating harmful substances from her life she no longer suffered from common ailments (i.e. fatigue, depression, and pain).

She has been in service to people for over a decade. She worked in a community hospital as a psychotherapist, yoga instructor, and meditation teacher. It was there that she saw the devastating effect of food, as poison, and pharmaceuticals on her clients who were not receiving the care they needed to thrive. She began to teach clients about food as medicine and how to empower themselves to heal from within.
