Great customer service from Dale, at the front end. When there was an obstacle with this last repair (94 Volvo, 850 turbo), he notified me promptly.
I first went to Sharp because it’s conveniently located. First time was at the end of October, 2015. My 1997 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe died on I-​205 near Oregon City. I had it towed home, swapped the battery from another car and drive it over to Sharp Automotive Repair Inc., pretty sure it was the alternator. I’ll make a long story short and just say, I had a new alternator installed by the end of that business day. 6 months later, I haven’t had any electrical issues with that car again. Dale also relayed to me a couple of issues with the car, which should be addressed, but didn’t hound me about them.
My wife is due with our first child on May 4^th. I thought it wise to get the Volvo back on the road as our family car (4-​door). It had a blown head gasket, and in fact, the old head was warped beyond resurfacing.
In case anyone’s wondering why I didn’t just lay this 22-​yr-​old car to rest; I just spent a lot of money last year having the transmission rebuilt.
Another long story short… the car is back together, running well, washed, tuned up, and with a giant case of diapers in the back seat along with a thoughtful/​creative note congratulating us on our soon to arrive baby (boy).
The owner was there, very personable, along with Dale and a few others when I picked up the car. They let me know about a few other issues, but again, didn’t hound me about when to get it done.
What I’ve appreciated both times is that they were very friendly and honest. Everything was explained plainly up front and the «rough estimate» was exactly what I paid the first time and VERY close this last time.
The case of diapers was a very nice touch. When I need future service I’m going to Sharp Automotive Repair Inc.

Jason worked on my Trooper a couple of times, I found him very easy to deal with, his quotes accurate, his prices more than fair, and his turnaround time very good.

My F250 was having a transmission problem. It kept overheating and shifting weird. I took it to sharp because it was on my commute to work. By the end of the day my truck was fixed and the bill was under 100 $. I’ve never taken anything to a mechanic and had it be under 100 $. I gave him a 100 $. The owner was nice and 6 weeks later, my truck is still good. I just referred a friend. And I’ll refer more.

My main source of income, my 2004 Dodge Ram broke down on the highway on a Wednesday night… I called Derrick @ Sharp who sent a tow truck at 9 am on Thursday… he promptly tore into the problem and gave me a few options from just getting it back on the road… to fixing several front end problems and making the truck more reliable. Long story short I had the truck back in time to do work on Friday… Thank you for the help!

Leaving this less than steller review now for the fact my car stalled out at the store again yesterday and Derrick apologized about mu car occasionally stalling on me cause of the sensor. This guy is not all together. After 2 times in the shop Really!

Business has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau for a reason — horrible work on your car. My wheel fell off after I left the shop when they were done with my brakes. Very scary. Won’t go back. Find another shop

The AC on my Subaru had stopped cooling, so I looked up shops on line and selected Sharp Automotive. They scheduled me in right away, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Jason is the owner, and he is a seasoned and matter-​of-​fact type of mechanic. He was quick to diagnose the issue, and remedied the problem spot on. The charge for the service was reasonable. This is a medium size but busy shop, and appears to be well staffed with all mechanics in uniform. They have good information on their Facebook page about specials and customer feedback. I will definitely go there again, and recommend it to others.
