In home acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and mandolin lessons at an affordable price! Serving all ages in the greater Portland area. I come to you, so you don’t have to worry about driving, or being late, and I find this makes students, particularly younger ones, feel more comfortable.

Half hour lessons start at $ 20, hour long lessons start at $ 25. Also, the first lesson is FREE! This way, we can make sure we’re both a good fit for each other. Pricing varies depending on your location, but I strive to keep them as low as possible for you!

History

Established in 2012.

Founded in 2012, I started teaching in San Diego, CA. In 2015, I have relocated to Portland, OR, and absolutely love teaching the eclectic group of people here!

Business Owner

My name is Jesse, I’m a 26 year old musician, composer, and artist. I teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass guitar, as well as ukulele and mandolin. I also teach introductory classes to DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and recording.

As a tutor, I will strive to maximize your progress, teaching the fundamentals of guitar, while working with songs and styles of music you like, in order to keep your lessons fun and informative. If you’re new to guitar, I will teach you the basics such as tuning your guitar, chords, strumming patterns, music theory, tablature and much more, as well as getting you started with learning your chosen songs as soon as possible. I’ll work closely with you, finding out what instrument you would like to play, and what genres, styles, and music you like, customizing your lesson plan personally and creating a fun, friendly, and educative lesson.
