I was in town vacationing and had pain & tightness in my neck that was making relaxing pretty tough. On a whim I made a massage appointment with Katie Dott, and happily received one of the most effective massages yet! She was thorough & persistent in working out knots and kinks, not just giving a «relaxing experience»…but I’m sure she would be amazing at that too! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Satori for 6 years. I mostly go for massage and waxing (thank you Katie and Richard). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. My girlfriend also gets her hair done there too. She has really curly hair and she found someone there that was very good at highlights.
I would definitely recommend Satori for anyone that is looking for a salon that really takes your individual wants and expectations into consideration. This is a locally owned establishment that makes you feel like family when you walk through the door. They haven’t forgot my name once :).

I have been in Portland for a year now (moved from DC) and this is my 4th different salon visit– looking for a home that could lowlight my hair and the look would work well for me.
Well I think this is the place. I left with the best looking hair color I’ve seen in over a year. I like the salon and the color results. They used Gladwell color on my hair (I think they have other options) I like the lay out inside the facility. The chairs are very comfortable. The wash chair is very cozy.
I would say that the pricing is about average, maybe slightly above for lowlights and a cut but I’m happy the result.

I had my haircut here many times but recently hade highlights by Paige. It was right before a big family wedding that I was in and knew there would be loads of pictures. I waited until right before leaving on my trip as I wanted to look great. When I left the salon (and generously tipped) I had no idea there was a huge (really huge) white streak in the underside of my hair. As soon as it is pulled up it cannot be missed. Could not wear my hair up for the wedding, which was in sunny warm San Diego. The most disappointing part is that Paige could not have missed this streak and never said a word. My hair was blown dried and I only saw when I got home. Very, very disappointing.

I’ve been searching for a salon that does eyelash tinting and it is HARD to find. Satori was able to get me right in for my last minute lash tint and did a FABOULOUS job. The price was very reasonable– only $ 25!
The salon is small, but cute and the receptionist was very friendly. If you are considering getting a last tint, but are nervous about trusting someone with dye around your eye, try this place!
