«A little store in Sellwood has opened, run by volunteers selling donated items. Sam’s Attic uses its profits to help teachers in Masaka and Nambirizi, Uganda, who run schools for orphans.» …great place to find quality items or donate quality items to. Have found some great treasures. Prices are good. Please spread the word. This beats a for-profit Goodwill!

Love this place! So many treasures, so little time. Totally non-profit is a bonus. They have a little bit of everything and the prices are rock bottom. I bought a cute jacket, a dress, a child’s seat that attaches to the dining table, and my daughter found a cool vintage framed photo of «Rocky». All for under $ 20!

I love this shop! There are many a thrift store in this town but few have such a warm and welcoming staff, go to such a good cause, and are filled with those thrift store gems. My walls are covered with the eclectic treasures I’ve found at Sam’s attic.

Nice shop! This wholly non-profit thriftie is a nice addition to the neighborhood. They funnel all the proceeds to help a group in Africa. They have the usual assortment of items found at most Thrift General Stores, like home goods, clothing, sports stuff, books, and jewelry. I scored several nice pieces of clothing, near-new, for under $ 10 total. At this time, they are only open Thu-Sat, but perhaps with a little business boom, they might just expand their hours. Cash Mob your local thriftie, y’all!
