History

Established in 1997.

We formed Realty Trust Group in 1997 to build something new, a locally-owned real estate company that succeeds by the highest standards and is respected by its clients and community. It’s actually very easy: we dedicate ourselves completely to our clients, we involve ourselves deeply in our communities, and we know our neighborhoods intimately.

And we love these neighborhoods. We grew up here. We remember the Portland of 10, 20, 30 years ago. We talk with community leaders to learn about where Portland and the surrounding area is heading in the upcoming years. With this perspective, we can find the home that’s right for you for years to come.

How? We listen. We ask questions. We analyze. We work hard. And then we listen more. We find the agent that’s best for you. Even the owners of Realty Trust Group continue to be selling agents because we never want to forget why we formed the Realty Trust Group: to help you find your home.

Business Owner

Sue Coon is a member of the Diamond/Platinum Million Dollar Club, and a consistent top producer. Sue was HGTV’s Portland Ambassador for the filming of «National Open House» in 2007. A licensed real estate agent since 1984, Sue’s fascination with Portland’s old houses & historic neighborhoods began when she purchased her first home at the age of 22. She has lived in Northeast Portland since she was thirteen years old, and her visceral understanding of neighborhood dynamics and development is well known in the industry. Sue’s vast network of local contacts ensures that she often knows of properties intended for sale long before they hit the open market. An Oregon State University and Kappa Alpha Theta alumna, Sue married her high school sweetheart in 1975 and is still happily married. As comfortable in jeans and cowboy boots as a suit and pearls, Sue retains the friendly, approachable manner she had growing up in «The Pea Capital of the World,» Milton-Freewater, Oregon, population 5000.
