Randall Vogt, P.C.

I googled to find a «victims’ rights» attorney in Portland and found Randall Vogt. I sent information to his office about my situation when I scheduled an initial consultation, I asked that he review it before my appointment so that if he wasn’t at all interested in meeting with me we could cancel the appointment to save us both some time. I also explained that I have PTSD with symptoms.
When I arrived for my appointment, he told me he didn’t have the information I’d sent and was completely inappropriate in his manner of addressing me as a victim of severe trauma. When I assured that he had received the information I’d sent, he went to his computer and printed an email and read it in front of me.
He disrespectfully informed me that the trauma I had experienced wasn’t possible because stuff like that doesn’t really happen. He was rude, dismissive, arrogant, condescending, and belligerent.
After attacking me with questions as if he were cross-​examining me, he told me he couldn’t help me because the issues I needed resolved were out of state. He could have skimmed the email information I’d sent prior to the appointment and spared me his abuse.
After the appointment, I checked out crime statistics on the FBI’s website and, unfortunately, really bad stuff does happen to people and not as rarely as Mr. Vogt insisted.
I wish I’d trusted the negative reviews about him and not made the appointment. He knows nothing about «victims’ rights.»
