History
Established in 2011.
Randy’s career began in Madison, WI, after earning a Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University and an MS in Management from UW-Madison. He created two design partnerships — first with an interior designer and then with another architect. The work established his credentials with a focus on designing within the «language» of existing buildings. It also led to his appointment and ultimate election as Chair of the Madison Landmarks Commission.
Randy’s collaboration with a project manager led to employment in 2006 with Mead & Hunt, an A/E firm based in Madison. He served as a senior project architect on airport, industrial and military projects. In 2008, he transferred to Portland as their first architect in a new Vancouver, WA office.
In 2011, Randy established his own practice in the Northwest and has since become involved with the Portland Chapters of AIA and CSI. He is also certified as a LEED Accredited Professional and an Earth Advantage Residential Remodeler.
