I am a two time breast cancer survivor that successfully completed a decade of grueling surgeries and treatment. I moved to Oregon and immediate sought out a GYN. I found this place, and wished I had done some research first. At my first office visit, I had a pap test done. It was extremely uncomfortable because I was still suffering effects on no estrogen in my body. The doctor handled the exam with care but what happened next is simply horrific. No one told me what their practice was to let patients learn the results. So when 2 weeks went by, I got nervous and called. After being on hold for way too long, a nurse came on, and asked if she could call me back. I nervously waited almost two hours, before calling back. This time they said the doctor had to talk to me and that she’d call me back. At this point, I am in tears. I am convinced that I have cancer. The doctor 20 minutes later. She nervously told me that the office had lost my pap tissue. I was livid! I have never, EVER heard of something like this ever happening. I was shocked — and then really pissed off. What if I had some suspicious cells, and I didn’t call back and just forgot about it? I had to go back there for them to do a second pap — and the results were fine. At the second visit, the doctor was apologetic and explained that she thought what happened is that my pap sat on the counter in the exam room after I left, and shortly thereafter there was a nurse shift change in the day. So the next nurse might have thrown it out. (That could have happened — but I suspect that my healthy tissue was mislabeled, and someone else who may have had a problem was told they were fine). The doctor told me that she was deeply distressed about this, and that they were going to have a meeting to discuss this incident to get to the bottom of it. She promised me that she’d get back to me to provide feedback after that meeting. Even after all this — I told myself if the doctor follows up, as she promised, I would go back. She never did, and I will never go back there again. The appalling care given by this office should be looked into by the State.

I agree with Ash 100%. My wife had been asighned Maxine Bauer, M.D. from the ER. We went to the office for the first time for my wife to have a biopsy. This procedure was done without pain relief and with the doctor leaving the spectrum in fully open to take her time down the hall. My wife cryed and screemed in pain and the other review was correct. They refuse to listen. Anything you say goes in one ear and out the other. My wife was the scheduled for a dnc. She was extremely scared but knew she needed it.
She ended up having the dnc and admitted to the hospital. This is where the nightmare really starts. This ugly excuse for a physician was rude to me the entire time. She refused to listen to anything I said even when my wife told me to speak on her behalf because of extreme pain. That didnt matter. Maxine would always look straight at my wife and act as though I didn’t exist. This butcher doctor botched my wife and then when she didnt get her way stormed out of our hostpitol room. When she left she told the nurses to stop all pain medication for my wife. What! This is the most unethical thing I have ever been privy to. My wife cried the entire night and was in so much pain all we could do is pray.
Here we are in a Catholic hospital with my wife crying because this doctor is such a crazy woman.
All I can end with is BEWARE!
She is the most uncaring doctor I have ever ever met. My wife had to be rushed to the ER. From there she was admitted

Since my last review Dr. Elizabeth Reindl performed a major surgery on me and was fantastic. She is a great surgeon with years of experience.

Update on my previous review.
After finding a new provider, I found out that most of the information given to me by this group was incorrect and more of a scare tactic. I would never let any of my friends or family use them for pregnancy and am so glad I switched. My new doctor is understanding and amazing and I wish I would have listened to my own concerns from the beginning instead of going here for 6 months. Please, if you want a happy, healthy, non stressful pregnancy with understanding providers then don’t go here.

Brook Taylor (np) is fabulous love her. I’ve never seen a dr here. But she’s all I want to see. She’s been my primary at women’s health for years and she is NOT allowed to leave me :)

The doctors here are friendly but the one nurse by the name of Jane ruin my experience. Last year I found out I had severe endometriosis without any previous symptoms. I was put on lupron for a couples months and I continue to call because I had horrific side effects. Later found out, they forgot to prescribe me progesterone to reduce the horrific side effects of lupron. Unfortunately, it’s hard to get an appointment with the doc because patients have to talk the nurse about your symptoms before you’re approved to get the doc appt. I cringed when I get Jane, the nurse. She is horrible. I call because I had severe pelvic pain and unfortunately she was the only nurse there. She rudely asked me, what do you expect me to do for you? I’m sorry to bother but I thought nurses are there to assist and help us with what to do. Again, I told the jane, I went to the ER because of severe pelvic pain and all she say uuhhumm. I’m definitely going to search for a different clinic where the nurses and doctors cares about their patient. I felt helpless because I was recently found out I had severe endometriosis and the constant severe pelvic pain is causing my life a living hell. I had a doc appt for my severe pelvic pain and forgot to tell the doc that I ran out of pain medication;I called back the next day, Jane the nurse suggest I go back to the ER for the refill since I didn’t mention my refill request during my office visit. Anyone that have endometriosis, I highly recommend not to go this clinic. They don’t understand or care patients that are suffering from endometriosis.

I havnt even been to my first appointment at the clinic yet and they have already been amazing! Iv experienced a miscarriage in the past and I’m terrified this pregnancy. I have called the clinic so many times and someone is always quick to help me. I never feel dumb when I ask a question and I feel so valued! They even had me come in at the last minute when I was having an issue and they took a look at my baby to make sure everything was ok. This clinic has gotten me through some really tough days of the mystery of pregnancy!

DO NOT USE THIS GROUP FOR YOUR PREGNANCY!!!
Terrible! No personal service you feel like a check they have to mark off thier list. They don’t listen to you and what th feel your body is telling you, they tell you what your body is doing (doesn’t matter if you know it’s not!) and require you to see other doctors and specialists without need and at your own expense (like having a baby isn’t expensive enough already).
I saw most of the doctors and I would say from my brief time Dr Paine seemed to be the best. Though the best of this list isn’t exactly brag worthy.
Struss stated, they «don’t like birth plans» and wouldn’t go over mine with me.
While I was in labor, Keating performed an exam so painful, I actually screamed and begged for her to stop (something that had never happened to me before), she didn’t. See actually continued, when she finished she felt so bad, she immediately left the room. The nurse who was in there the whole time was speachless. I didn’t see Keating again until the next morning when she came in to say she was leaving. She never apologized, the closest thing to an apology I received was the nurse who come in to try to smooth things over. (Her exact words, «she thinks you might be mad asset her»)…I’ve never cried after an exam before, that was the worse experience of my life.
Ultimately, my son was born and is healthy. I try to focus on the positives of that. However, I’m not convinced this group did anything to make me recommend them. I am positive, that much was done for me to warn against thier use.

I went to see Dr. Penikas for an annual and answers to some questions I had. He was a total sweetheart. Best OB/​GYN I’ve ever had. He will be delivering my future offspring as I feel he is «the one».
I liked that the center sends you a letter with your PAP smear results signed by your physician. It added a nice touch and shows they care.

Dr. Strauss is the bee’s knees. He’s a total pro who puts you at ease, which given the circumstances (ankles up in stirrups) is no small feat. I’ve been going to him for my annual visits for years and I actually look forward to these visits because I always leave armed with all the newest medical info or some other health factoid. He and the staff at the clinic are caring and professional. Seriously who doesn’t have issues with a health care provider at some point? I haven’t had any issues here ever. They are great about reminder calls and on the spot for prescription refills. If I decide to pop out some ankle biters in the future, there’s no question, this is where I would come for that too. Highly recommended.
