Trinkets T-shirts and postcards Ports of Call is a touristy place with a whole lot of touristy stuff. Lots of mugs, Maine T-shirts, key chains, refrigerator magnets, postcards and other things found in the typical tourist place. But Ports of Call is also has a lot of very cool military surplus stuff like jackets, sweaters, optics and bags at very reasonable prices. Definitely a fun place to poke around. The store is dark, kind of funky smelling and very woody. Lots of ropes and other nautical stuff just hanging around, it has a very pleasantly tacky décor. An interesting store, you can find the plenty tacky touristy stuff here and if you dig and look a bit you just might find something more.

Lots of «touristy» gifts, but also an impressive collection of WWII, naval, and other military surplus bags & coats. Staff was super friendly, giving me a discount because the coat I bought«looked so good on me».

This place is sweet. They’ve got old issued military and naval uniforms from around the world. Some good quality vintage wool peacoats for men at available for under $ 100. Among their inventory are old French field shirts and wool sweaters, retro Czech Marine jackets, vintage binocular cases, German ruck sacks, and other lovely things. I’ve scored some goods for $ 5 or under in the past. They also have a good selection of old postcards that date back to the late 1800s. Two thumbs up.
