I loved this place! We went for the first time on Friday and I will absolutely be going again. We saw our favorite band and it was just fantastic! The bathrooms were very clean and the bartenders were fast. There is a lot of room to dance and also ample room to stand and admire the band and gawk at all the questionable dance moves on the d floor below. We had a blast :)

Maine has such a vibrant local music scene, and now we finally have an equally great place to see local favorites perform. A converted flower shop, this renovated space lends itself perfectly to a music venue: the stage is front and center, with a large open space(with movable tables) for dancing, and then peripheral seating for those that want to sit in a dark corner and enjoy the show while drinking their adult beverages. Speaking of — on par with other bars in Portland, the tap list is quite extensive(and affordable!), and their vodka tonics are generously served in pints. The show I most recently saw had a cover of only $ 5 — not a bad price to see an all-star lineup of local musicians. They currently have a pretty set weekly schedule of local bands, but I’m sure that’ll change once they start getting more bands booked. Come down and check out what the Maine music scene is all about!

We went to an 80’s cover band last night at this venue and we were pleasantly surprised. Great venue right in the heart of the city. A packed show and the bartenders never had us waiting more than a few minutes. The bathrooms got pretty nasty by the end of the night but other than that we had no complaints!

Stopped by for lunch. THECHICKENSUBISINSANELYDELICIOUS! Great beer selection. Great atmosphere and music. The staff was very friendly. I will defiinitely be going back to have some beers and check out some live music. This place should be on your list of places to visit in the Old Port.

I still need to get back to HOME to catch a show, but I have managed to grab lunch there, and I was not disappointed. The BLT sandwich had a generous layer of thick-cut bacon and a «sugary lemon» mayo that was an unexpected flavor addition to this staple sandwich, but ultimately a welcome combination in these summer months. The Mac & Cheese had a thick, creamy sauce that chock full of black pepper, which I happen to enjoy. As a hard cider fan, I was also pleased to find both bottles of Wyder’s Dry Pear and Angry Orchard on tap. A local singer/songwriter was playing on the patio, and the owner himself came over and checked to see how everything was going. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu, and to hear some bands!
