Custom sofas, and sectionals made in Portland Oregon. Condo size furniture. Rugs, lighting and accessories. With quickest turn around time 3 to 5 weeks.
We originally ordered a custom couch from JC Penny and that order fell out of their system, they neglected to tell us until we called to inquire. And we are so glad it did. We visited Portland Furniture and worked with Julia, getting a nice big custom couch, locally made on the west coast for a great price. It’s always nice to support a local business especially when they have employees who genuinely care about what they do. There are a lot of furniture stores out there, if you want quality, value and professional sales/support, go to Portland Furniture.

DANA!!! I spend a lot of time in Portland because I like the people(the midwesterner in me) and Dana is an excellent example. The service that we got from her was the best. The. Best. From patience in choosing and emailing back and forth about 20 times, input in directing choice and pointing out options in the store to following up with the delivery people because it’s a difficult location, this was definitely one of the best service experiences I have ever gotten. I also got a beautiful sofa that works better in the space than my original vision, thanks to Dana. Excellent all the way around.

Great furniture shop! The owner Dana helped me pick out a lovely and affordable couch that was custom made in Portland. It was ready for pick up much sooner than I had expected and she took the time to help me pick a fabric that would work with the rest of my house. I have several pieces from the shop. Lamps, side tables and now the coolest couch. I love it!

We are delighted with Portland Furniture. They are real pros, flexible and friendly. A couple of Canadians from BC, we wanted something special: a curved sofa, chaise longue and ottoman to fit in a particular space. Portland Furniture had reasonable prices and sent back informative emails. So we drove down over the border to look at some of their curved Flores Design models. We ended up putting in an order, picking out models and fabric. We got adept guidance from the store’s owner on how items from the various Flores lines could go together to make a nice ensemble. Delivery was yesterday, and the pieces arrived looking fabulous. We are thrilled.

My husband and I recently purchased a sectional couch from Portland Furniture, and we couldn’t be happier. Dana was helpful in pointing out options for color, fabric, style, fill, size.. you name it! If you want a piece that is completely customized, this is definitely the shop to come to. Our sectional is very high quality, and you can tell that it will wear well and last for years. We were also very satisfied with Clark’s Delivery Service. We received the couch within two days of getting the call that our sectional was finished. The men who delivered it were highly professional and friendly. Portland Furniture is a bit pricey, but we found our experience and the sectional we received to be worth every penny.

Living in Southern California, the last thing I expected to do was buy furniture in Portland! But boy am I glad I did. Dana went above and beyond in customer service including obtaining many factory sample fabrics, loaning us her own samples when needed, answering a slew of questions and helping us customize the size of the sectional. Delivery was the best experience I have encountered with on time arrival, a short initial window, and a call 45 minutes in advance. The final piece met our expectations, looks wonderful in our home, and costs less than other high-end brands we priced.

Pricey, but beautiful furniture. I could have spent hours browsing the rug catalogs(sooooo many great designs) but I went with the floor model design since it was love at first sight! They had to order it but couldn’t check if it was in stock until the next day so I decided to have them call me to place the order the next day over the phone. The rug was shipped directly to my house and I’m still loving it eight months later!

I had a mixed experience with Portland furniture. I have a different perspective than the other poster. I have a lot of experience with furniture, having been in the industry myself. I have negotiated with furniture vendors for many years to arrive at pricing that was reasonable. While they have a nice selection, I don’t find their pricing to be reasonable at all. I got a quote for $ 4300 for two chaises, and after negotiating, the owner reluctantly gave me an industry discount of 10%, or to $ 3800. However, I quite easily found another vendor who completed my order for $ 2,500 and that included delivery from CA — without having to do any negotiating. Exact same manufacturer and custom specifications, fabrics, etc. I gave Portland a chance to compete, but they lost the sale due to their inflexibility and lack of understanding how business is conducted. I believe the excuse was that it would not be fair to other customers. In this business, every transaction is independent — you either want to close a sale or you don’t — other customers have nothing to do with it. The most fascinating part of this story is that the place where I made my purchase is apparently affiliated with Portland furniture. When I told them I was in Portland, they said, «oh, why don’t you try our sister store, Portland Furniture.» I said because there is a huge price discrepancy between the two. Odd that two affiliated stores would have such a huge disparity in pricing. I think the only other comment that I would make is that the assistant in this location is a bit acid and arrogant — she could improve her level of friendliness and turn off the parental attitude — I wasn’t as bothered by it, but other people I was with were very turned off. Other than that, I thought it was a fine place — they have a good selection and options and the location is great. I wouldn’t buy from there though because of the competitive pricing elsewhere.

Great experience. Very affordable prices, quality products, and Dana, the owner, is wonderfully helpful and friendly. I am a first time furniture buyer and have been doing my research and this place has clearly stood out among all others so far in terms of price, quality, and service. I highly recommend it without any reservation.
