Do not call these guys to repair your garage door unless you want the following things:
1. To be overcharged — charged us $ 377 to replace 2 torsion springs which should have cost about $ 250. Not to mention, they installed them incorrectly.
2. Left with a non-​functioning garage door.
3. Left to track down your own parts — technician said if we tracked down the part, he could come back to install it for a fee.
4. To be left hanging — They scheduled a 4 hour window to come back to finish the job. When we called an hour into the 4 hour window to see what time they would be coming, they said they didn’t have us on their schedule. They said they spoke with my husband or left a msg (they didn’t know which one) and told us they weren’t coming. Which of course is a lie, they never attempted to contact us.
The technician stated he could replace the whole garage door opener for $ 395 «because you just got your springs replaced through us». Again, we would have been overcharged.
We ended up going to Sears and they installed a Craftsman ¾ HP belt opener for $ 350.
Bottom line… Save yourself the frustration of getting ripped off and left with a half*ss job and go elsewhere!

New home, I wanted to re-​key the front lock first. One of their contractors took a look and said it’s impossible because I did not have a master key. Then they went on to sale one of their own locks, which they said is commercial grade Schlage. But no «Schlage» brand on the locks whatsoever. At the end they charge me ~$ 400 for the front door locks! Which would only cost 100 at the most.

I was in a jam when I accidentally bent my house key and no way to get into my home. Guy helped me out quick after I’d been waiting over 40 minutes for another locksmith to call me back.
These guys are friendly, trustworthy and dependable. What else can you ask for in a locksmith. If you need their services, don’t hesitate to give them a call!

Don’t use their service. We waited over 30 minutes for the technician to arrive when the technician promised a 20 minute arrival time. After getting tired of waiting, we finally decided to fix it ourselves and were able to get in. They still charged us for the service call, but the technician felt bad and reduced it to the daily rate. The original fee would’ve been $ 150 just to unlock the door and possibly more if it were a Schlage lock. Stay clear of their service!

They dispatch to independent contractors, so your experience is going to vary depending on who gets assigned to your call. (You can expect the price to go up as you get closer to having the work actually done, though.)
I needed a couple locks re-​keyed on a single door. The guy who answered the phone wasn’t able to give a binding (or accurate) estimate about anything other than the fee to have somebody come out, but about 11 minutes later I was contacted by the guy who actually did the work, and he was able to clarify the cost a little more. (Upwards.)
The work was done quickly and professionally once he arrived, and he did arrive at the time he said he would.
In the future I’ll definitely try to shop around some in the interest of saving money, but I have no reason to avoid this service.

I was not impressed with their service. They came out on 3÷1÷15 to repair my garage door and install a garage door opener I had bought. I was told over the phone and by the tech who showed up in the morning that they’ll be done around noon. Because I had an appointment later in the day. The tech didn’t leave till around 5pm, and he showed up around 8 am. It ended up screwing up my whole entire day. I don’t know were to start, so many things went wrong.
— From the start it was bad, he told me he had never installed a garage door opener before, yet some how he was a garage door tech. I was dumbfounded. What company sends a untrained/​unqualified person out to a job site?
— It took the guy 3 times before he figured out how to install the new spring system. The 3rd time I was helping him put it together and figure it out.
— He wasn’t supplied with all the proper tools, when I asked why he blamed his boss. He was having to borrow/​use my tools just to do his job. I don’t understand why a company can’t provide the proper tools to their employees.
–When it came to installing the garage door opener, he struggled through trying to put it together. Couldn’t figure it out, I had to help him again do his job since he never has installed a garage door opener, neither have I, yet I was having to help him understand how it went together since he couldn’t grasp it.
The guy was obviously untrained, unqualified to be going out and doing garage door installs, he worked hard, I gave him food and water since he wasn’t taking a break. I felt bad. I don’t blame the tech that came out, rather that a company would feel it was okay to send a employee out who was untrained and unqualified to be performing the work. It shows they don’t care about their customers.
I paid about $ 750, they didn’t give me break on the price for wasting my whole day, using my tools, and having to help the guy do his job. I called them to save me time, and it just turned into a nightmare.
I would never do business with them again, the worst experience I have ever had with a business.

They will tell you one price on the phone, then when the technician calls you and you ask him for a price, he will tell you he doesn’t know or can’t quote over the phone because it’s «company policy.» They say they have to come out first. When they do, they raise the price MUCH higher than what the receptionist tells the customer. If you try to back out at that point, they will tell you that you HAVE to pay a service fee for them already coming out.

Watch out for poor business practices! I called a number I thought was my neighborhood locksmith but they must just be a call center that refers out. I was quoted $ 29 for a service call and $ 29 to re key each lock. I was also told there would be a written estimate prior to any work being completed. When the locksmith arrived I let him know what I wanted and returned to my own work. He completed the work without a written estimate and then gave me a bill for nearly 3 times what I was quoted! Not only that, but he charged me an additional $ 35 for no reason at all. I paid the bill but feeling ripped I contacted other reputable locksmiths and got estimates for 1⁄3 of the bill I just paid. I contacted the company and explained that we did not receive a written estimate prior to the work being completed and that the estimate we got on the phone was $ 200 less than what we were charged. The man on the phone told me basically he didn’t care, that he doesn’t care what other people charge, that the estimate I was given on the phone was a «rough estimate» and that he wasn’t about to do anything about it. When I asked him about his unethical business practices he simply told me «that’s your opinion and I don’t really care, is there anything else I can do for you?» I am not a fan of writing poor reviews, but my experience with this company was terrible and people who treat others like this should not be in business.

These days I swear my friends and family are having horrible luck. My friend just had his car stolen from her garage and they wrecked it. He needed to get his garage doors fixed, and more… protective? Apparently the guy just shimmied his way in. I spent those days with him today as he called doors and locks guys (he got their number from recommendation). as they basically installed all new doors.
They were fast and effective, though I wish a little more faster, but its really physics fault not theirs. I didn’t even know they made garage door companies. I am glad they were here to help.

Yikes! Steer clear of these guys. I called them before reading any reviews. In between time I read some reviews, and decided I would make my own determination. I called for a problem that we had had previously and that had cost about $ 65 to repair, including the service call. In other words, a simple problem. The guy took a brief look at the door, and guess what? He quoted me the exact amount that the guy in the previous post reported – $ 140. Red flags flew up. I sent the guy packing. I called a different locksmith who estimated it would cost $ 60 or so to fix the problem.

I accidentally locked myself out. I had to use my neighbor’s phone to call. Since they were about to have dinner, I called the number of the first ad I saw that advertised 24hr service without investigating.
When the locksmith got here it took less than a minute to open the door. I think he told me before he started that it would be $ 130, which is about twice as much as what I was expecting. Maybe that’s normal for this area. I told him I would get him a check and he said, «We take cash, card, or you can give me your dog». I was not in a joking mood. I was charged another $ 10 for using my credit card, which brought the total to $ 140.
He got the door opened quickly, but I think I got ripped off.
