We also carry a wide selection of independently published zines, books, and comics plus buttons, magnets, and bottle openers in over 100 of our own designs.
Wednesday and Thursday we are open by appointment or by chance. Alex lives a few blocks way and uses the space as an office so it’s easy to drop by to meet someone on those days.
History
Established in 2012.
After over a decade of making custom buttons in North Portland, Alex Wrekk took the leap and opened a brick and mortar storefront where you can pick up your orders or come in and make your own buttons.

Business Owner
Has been living in North Portland and making custom buttons for over a decade. Besides making buttons, she enjoys drinking and brewing craft beer, cooking vegan food, roasting coffee, tending her garden, and being actively involved in zine culture. She has been creating her zine, Brainscan, since 1997 and wrote the DIY zine resource book, Stolen Sharpie Revolution. Alex has also volunteered at the Independent Publishing Resource Center, organized for the Portland Zine Symposium and travels to several other zine events a year.
